my cycle is 23/24 days... when the hell do i ovulate?

Name changed for this one. Anyway, I was convinced I ovulated on day 10, but not according to those blooming expensive ovulation sticks...I conceived ds1 on day10, I am pretty sure. What do you think? Getting stressed because my dp is working away and will come back for the night to impregnate me. I don't understand my body at all....

You poor thing. I have a 25/26 day cycle. I am pretty sure I ov around day 10/11, but I am not getting pregnant, so maybe I am completely wrong too.

What are the ov sticks telling you?

I tend to run out of the damned things before day 11 - i should just buy another lot and see if I ovulate after day 11. I have been convinced for years that it was day10. Did you try the sticks too?

I have a 24/25 day cycle and I ovulate on days 10/11.... but sometimes it can get very erratic.

what do ov sticks say? because when they go positive that is when you ovulate and it might change each cycle

how many cycles have you pinpointed it by ov stick? have you considered charting?

Only once and it said yes for day 11. That seems to fit with other symptoms. I always forget to use them.

Don't know if you have checked out other ttc threads but lots of women seem to find the ov sticks pretty unreliable.

I did sticks .. I had a 28 - 30 day cycle

I needed 2 packs first month .. ovulated day 23

then I started testing later for the next 2 months .. again ovulated cd 23

bingo .. found my problem .. sorted it .. DD

so you got a positive on day 11? that means you ovulated day 12-13 yes? ..

I didn't think it changed each cycle. I don't seem to get any symptoms either. I know quite a few people don't like the sticks, will buy a new lot and try to get to the bottom of this. It's stressfull because dp is away. Thank you for this info.

Have you tried checking cm?

Well, I have a 25/26 day cycle and I ovulate either day 10,11,or 12, depends on the month, I have used opks but the real kicker is when my temp drops, I usually know that's the day or the next day. To be sure you get pg, have sex on day 8, 10, 12, 14, sperm is sure to be alive when the egg gets there because having sex several days and up to one day before is better than the day of. The sperm need to be in place before the egg comes down. And don't panic, I used to be nicknamed "fertile mertile" and now in my late thirtees, I'm taking every remedy there is known and dh is on boxers, cold showers and vitamens neither has a prob, I ovulate my fsh is great, this is going on month 9 and it still hasn't happened for us and he is my second dh with no children of his own, he would be a great father, it's truly very sad. good luck to you
