Coming off pill TTC

Hello I'm new here! Partner and I TTC but I only stopped taking the pill 4 weeks ago and so far AF is no show. Is it possible to conceive before AF comes? Previously when ive had breaks from the pill AF has returned to normal immediately. I've trawled the internet and cant find any answers!!! I just want to know if I can fall pregnant so soon after coming off the pill? It was the progesterone only.

It's possible. But unlikely. Your cycles may take a while to settle down. Prepare mentally for both outcomes. Good luck and Merry Christmas!!

Yes my best friend got pregnant without getting a period. Was waiting for her period for 3 months before she realised she was pretty much through her first trimester!

My first cycle was 50 days of very uncomfortable bloating, lots of pregnancy symptoms and uncertainty. Then I had a 23 day cycle so that shocked me as I thought I'd ovulated ok. The problem with the pill is that the hormones do nasty tricks with your system. As long as you're aware it might take a few months for things to settle and you're in a good mental state you'll be fine. So many ladies on here go absolutely mental and obsessive like 2 weeks in and it won't help the TTC journey.

I got pregnant straight after my first period off the pill. Could well have conceived before but took the advice to use condoms (it makes dating easier apparently).

I didn't have af for 5 weeks after stopping the pill. Then got my BFP on the next cycle, after that 'real' period. Good luck!

It's possible to get pregnant if you miss a pill so if you've stopped taking it completely then it's definitely possible although hard to know whether you've ovulated.

Hmmm! It really does take over your mind doesn't it? We are only casually/leisurely TTC really, yet it's all I can think about despite my best efforts!!!
