Am i pregnant? Help i'm confused...

I am really quite confused...
I don't know if I am pregnant! Simply because...
I normally have my period every month+1day... and it prompt always.
Never a no show, I always give it the extra +1day, incase it was stuck in traffic lol.
I'm married, a healthy 21 year old, sexually active, husband normally uses condoms or pull-out method recently...
Well I was a little under the weather this month, but my periods a whole week late! I have these awful headaches which are really frustrating, they kick in early evening, I've been feeling tired- thought that was because of my cold... My gums have been hurting. My wee had a weird smell... I have been awfully bloated and producing a LOTTT of wind!!! Which is strange! Another strange thing is: a day before my period my belly just popped out, my belly was flat and then the next day I have a sluggish gut which was hanging and looked like extreme extreme water retention...
Nevertheless I have done a pregnancy test... but I did it at night- the test said I could and I was a little excited...
The test came out negative... still not period yet...
i'm thinking to repeat the test next Saturday- when its been 6weeks since my last period. if that's neg again I will defo go to see the GP...

We weren't trying for a baby yet, but the thought of a baby is exciting of course, change is always good so would welcome a gawjus little baby =]

Please advise me.

The pull out method isn't a method, so yes, you could be.

Try another test with first morning urine.

As it is peculiar that mother nature has delayed my present by 8days...

I would do it tomorrow morning...

However, at a week late, you would be highly likely to get a positive at any time! Sometimes we are just late.... Delayed ovulation (which can be cause by a huge variety of things) will cause a late period.

But the 'pull out method' is not a method of birth control, so you could be or become pregnant.

Try again in the morning with first wee. Pee into a pot and dip the test into it. Don't flood it and you should be ok for a valid test. However, the pull out method is not very clever if you are not TTC.

Will do, haha we weren't and he wasn't suppose to use the pull out method but got carried away eh... lol- but i'll be really happy if I am preg- both very excited- IF IM NOT WE WILL BE TRYING FOR A BABY NOW. wooooh

Done the test with morning wee, used a small pot.
Tests come out negative again...
Period is still a no show, will be making an app with GP as this is now quite worrying.

Honest question, is this supposed to be a genuine contraceptive or are you actually kind of hoping you'll be pregnant?

But yes, you could be pregnant. But if you aren't... I think going to a doctor may still be a good idea. Just to check out what's been causing these changes.

Weighed myelf and realised ive gained 8kg in under 3mnths... Im assuming this may be a contributory factor. Done some exercise and had some awful period pains. Went to the loo-have a very light pink period, which isnt flowing like normal... Rather it just popped up and now ita not coming out. Im assuming im not pregnant- just the sudden weight gain and lack of exercise lately has resulted in a very delayed period.?

Ovulation can be delayed for a huge number of reasons (including change in routine). A delay in ovulation will cause a late period as the time between ov and the start of your period is generally the same each month but the date of ovulation can change for some people leading to an irregular period.
