Can I join? I had an EP in October treated with methotrexate. This is our first month TTC since then and currently on CD22

Hi Lissie, Aitch, Co.
I just wanted to thank you so much for helping and reassuring me 10 days ago when I was very scared about an ectopic. I just wanted to give you a follow-up and hope it won't upset anybody. I had an early scan today and everything looks like a 'normal' (not that normal means anything for us any longer...) pregnancy. I have been bleeding lightly for about 15 out of the last 20 days (definitely not normal) and was/am very worried. Bleeding is still continuing but for the time being there is glimmer of hope. Thank you very much and all the best to you. This is aheartfelt wish.

Great news Glimmer

Glimmer, that's great news. Bleeding during pg is so hard to deal with (mind-set). I've spotted on and off throughout all of mine, creates such anxiety you just don't need. However, a very good friend of mine had serious bleeding throughout her first trimester and the scan found she had a blood clot in her womb. She still gets spotting now and then, but is now 30wks! Fingers crossed for you that all will be ok.

AitchYouBerk · 20/03/2007 10:57

oh how fab, glimmer. (it makes me love your name all the more...) i remember a friend of mine had persistent bleeding and she'd had an ectopic previously so was terrified. she got the all-clear and then had a massive bleeding episode and we all were terrified but it was, like 99's pal, a blood clot that was clearing. the baby is now 2! fingers crossed that your pregnancy is boring and unevenful from here on in.

Glimmer · 20/03/2007 10:58

So 99rb how are you doing? I take it all is well?! That's good news.

Glimmer · 20/03/2007 11:03

Thank you for your good wishes. The stats say there is still a 33% chance of mc in the presence of bleeding at week 6. So the next weeks will be tough but at least it hasn't gone wrong yet ... It's so scary because I could have been en ectopic or a mc and all the symptoms are the same... Good luck to you.

99redballoons · 20/03/2007 13:02

Hi Glimmer, not sure if you read my news on the other thread... I lost the baby hadn't grown since 6wks and I was 9.5wks. Very sad. My hormones are finally settling down so I'm not so tearful all the time anymore. We're still completely unsure about trying again. After having 2/4 pg's successful I'm dreading if it will be 2/5 but hopefully 3/5. We'll see in a few months.

Hope all goes ok with the pg, they're little fighters.
