Unprotected Sex on day 18 - how likely?

Hi

I had an ectopic pregnancy/miscarriage in December and was really, really devastated.

However we have used condoms since as I dont feel ready to try again yet BUT we went out on a night out on Saturday and I was very very drunk - resulting in shag minus a condom.

I know these things all depend on various things but how likely is it that I will be pregnant?

if it were me i'd be pregnant, but then dd1 was concieved whilst using a condom!

well, if you ovulated around 13 - 14 ,then really unlikely the egg would still be hanging around 4 days later.......

when we were doing it i was conscious of the unprotectedness aspect of it but thought i was only a couple of days away from period

its hard to work out last cycle because the operation was on the 29th December and my period started on 28th jan but does that count?

I darent check the TTC threads because day 18 sounds familiar!!!!

Altho Im sure the month I got preg I OVed early.

Im hard to predict really as I had only been off the mirena coil two months when I fell pregnant and then this period was prompted by laparoscopy and D+C at 9 weeks preg so again not really a proper cycle.

Definitely possible.

I would say possible but given an average 28 day cycle, quite unlikely. Would you be devastated if you were?

oxo - I dont know. Im very confused as pregnancy I lost was very wanted and planned for but I think my way of dealing with that has been to concentrate on how good life is without being pg/having no 3 yet.

Ive hit the gym, started dieting, have lots of stuff planned for the summer, working on feeling better about myself and to be quite honest dont think I have really come to terms with it all yet - I would be so scared I think.

If you ovulate on day 14...(going on the 28 day cycle) then the egg is released that day. It then travells along the tubes to the uturus. Anytime after ovulation till the period you can get pregnant. The person who says 4 days later not likely is mad! Much more likely! the egg is still alive and in your body! Take morning after pill if you still can or havent already. Otherwise fingers crossed!
