Should I wait to tell husband?

I'm three days away from expected period. I've done an early Clearblue and generic brand pregnancy test today and they both show a faint positive line. I've been reading more about the inaccuracy of of tests before when your period is due. I'm scared to get excited in case it is a chemical pregnancy or inaccurate reading. Should I tell my husband now to share in it together or wait until it is more clear? What are your thoughts/experiences with early tests? Thanks! This is my first pregnancy so don't know what to expect. Attached is my chart.

If I were you, I'd tell him, for two reasons. I'm assuming the news will excite him as much as you, and secondly, if anything were to go wrong (hopefully not), you'd want his support. Hope it all goes well for you!

I'm in the same boat! Tested 2days ago expecting a BFN (never known any different) but got a BFP!
2 days before AF due and I have been stressing since about testing too early!

I have told DH and after initial happiness, we are waiting a few more days until we properly get excited!

I'm glad I told him though- the excitement/worry is better to share!

I've decided to tell him and after a while of having to explain why I wasn't getting too excited yet, I think we're in a good place. Not allowing it to 'sink in' until a week or two after missed period. Thanks for your support!

Personally I'd never take a HPT without my DH present. It's as much his moment as it is mine. Fx all goes well. X

I didn't tell my DH for 3 days. I was originally going to keep it a secret for two weeks and tell him on Christmas Day but I couldn't wait that long.

We had an early miscarriage back in January which is another reason I didn't want to tell him straight away - I felt like I needed to feel like things were going to be ok.
