Soo.. I had a could fitted yesterday. Everything seemed ok until about 5 minutes after. I started to feel extremely sick and unwell. Then all I remember is waking up with a medical team around me and I was attached to loads of wires. I was then told that I had a seizure that lasted around 10 minutes. I had to stay at the hospital for 1 hour before I got sent home. Nothing else was said about it. Just wondering if anyone else had an experience like this? Never been so scared. I'm also still in a lot of pain.

Not quite the same but my friend had a seizure when she had her ears pierced. She went to the doctors, which you always always should if it's your first seizure or if you don't have them often. I'd call your GP in the morning, tell the receptionist you've had a seizure so need an emergency appt. it's good just to check all is ok.

Wow 10minuets!!??? My mum had one while giving blood I was with her and she was ok but suddenly put her hand on her head and said ouch as if she randomly got a bad pain then her hand started to shake, the she fell to the floor shaking and twitching. They kept her for an hour too and she felt really cold she kept saying so they have her blankets but she was ok. She hasn't given blood since. That's scary yours lasted 10minuets. Have you ever had anything like that before?

This might be better in another forum? This is conception... usually we're having contraceptions removed lol

You might get more response. Hope it doesn't happen again, sounds scary!!!
