please tell me if im being unreasonable

so ive just had a hypothetical argument with DH.
we dont know if were pregnant but he asked me who I would tell early days.
I lost both my parents this year so I said my sister, my bf and his mum.
his brother had a miscarriage previously (now preggo with another and all doing v v well) and my DH said he wouldnt want to tell as doesnt want to stress his mum out over the 12 weeks.
i said- his mum is trying to fill the gap of my mum and of course i wouldve told my mum.. his mum hasnt got great health- high blood pressure and arthritis but I personally think she would hate not being told and I want someone (rather than boring just my sister) about all of the things.. now weve had an argument and he's in the other room - im hoping this is part of me being pregnant and hormonal but am I being unreasonable?

You are both acting unreasonably by having an argument about hypothetical situations.

As for the argument sorry but YABU. She is his mum, he gets to decide whether she is told or not, and it is perfectly normal to wait until 12 weeks. He has very good reasons and you should respect them IMO. If you want people to talk to, there is an ante natal group on mumsnet, and you will find lots of discussion on there with people at your own gestatation, who also havent told anyone yet including parents.

Relax. If you're getting this stressed out before you're even pregnant it won't do any good. Pull yourselves together and stop worrying about the what ifs. Things change once you actually ARE pregnant. X
