Longest it can realistically take to get a positive on a pregnancy test?

Am about a week late and I'm getting a negative.

Usually quite regular, cycle is reliably 28-29 days, occasionally 31 days. I'm on day 35 now and I don't feel pre-menstrual at all.

I'm using cheap tests off amazon

I’m currently 6 days late and been getting negative tests!! I ovulated on day 10-11 this month as I’ve been doing clear blue ovulation tests. So where’s my period?! 🙈 xx
