Hi Ladies, I've been a long time reader but this is one of my first posts and reaching out for some advice. Basically me and my OH have been ttc our first bubba for 4 and a half years now. We both have children from our previous marriages. But for some reason we are really struggling with it. I have PCOS and very irregular periods, but I've always been that way. So far we have had 3 early miscarriages and 1 late miscarriage. Drs haven't exactly helped tbh and idk where to turn now. I haven't been pregnant at all this year and tbh I'm starting to give up hope. Sorry for the long post just really feeling it atm. Has anyone got any advice on what we could try? or do you guys just think that my partner and i just arnt compatible? tia xx

Hey, that sounds really tough! I would definately kick up a fuss with the doctors, get them on side for figuring out what's going on. It can still happen for you though! After five years of trying my mum had nearly given up. It eventually happened while they were distracted by the loss of my dad's dad and not even trying properly. Well, here I am! Good luck, it's not over yet x

I too have PCOS and am just wondering if you've tried metformin? Has some great results in getting PCOS to ovulate regularly and get pregnant. Worked for me after about 18 months of nothing. I stayed on it to prevent miscarriage as there is some evidence it may help.

I'm so sorry for your losses Flowers

Hi girls, thanks for the reply's, We're going back to Drs after new years, I was supposed to start metformin a year ago. We were getting the results of autopsy on our LB (late miscarriage) and the consultant at the hospital said to give it a few months and to go back once we were ready to start trying again (he actually made an appointment for 4 mths time) So, well we thought we were being careful but 8 wks later what do you know BFP any ways long story short we lost that one too but because we got preg again it had basically kicked us off the hospital consultancy system so went to docs only to be told that they couldn't refer us straight back up there and that i'd have to have all the test again! Like i said not helpful. I know we'll get there eventually but wow its hard sometimes x
