Congrats all that got your BFP! Amazing news. Grin

Im now cd29 and despite days of aches and cramps AF has yet to arrive.

Loxy4527 · 15/12/2016 07:08

Looks like this is my stop! AF woke me up at 3am this morning (how rude!) Hey ho, it's been lovely seeing all the positives with you ladies, makes it seem possible Smile dont mind if I have all your shares of the xmas champers to do? Wink will stick around to see who else gets lucky this month but probably won't do another bus in the new year. Good luck everyone!

BertieBotts · 15/12/2016 07:15

Goodness you've all been busy! Grin

AF due any time over the weekend... I am really not sure when I ovulated. some time between CD 17-20. So AF due any time from CD 30-35. On CD29 now. No signs of AF, so far. Temp staying up. Cautiously hopeful here (though it would be a Christmas miracle with all the stress!)

IntelligentPutty · 15/12/2016 07:15

Joining the bus if thats OK.
Age 37 9I think, I loose count of the years now!)
TTC #2
Cycle.. not sure 3 or 4
Af Due 23/12

Had ectopic in July and lost a tube. DTD 2 times in fertile week, probably not enough, and I reckon this months egg was from the side with no tube..

Hoping for lots of BFP's (Wouldn't that be good xmas present!).

bluebell17 · 15/12/2016 07:18

Some of you may remember me with my funny cycles, so I had a 34 day cycle, with AF that lasted 11 days, then a 16 day cycle (so only 5 days between each AF!!!). On the 16 day cycle, AF only lasted 4 days but the second day was the worst I've ever experienced. I actually called 111 because I was worried about the amount of bleeding. Horrific.

MWe also had DTD on one of the days in between the two cycles. So now I'm CD7 of that cycle, and I've had all sorts of cramps and twinges and feeling dizzy yesterday and day before. But I can't work out why. Feeling so confused. Cycles are all over the place and haven't done OPKs so no idea if/when I'm ovulating in all of this. Arghhhh.

bluebell17 · 15/12/2016 07:24

Oh and I should probably say that I'm really worried that the recent AF wasn't actually AF at all, as it was a tiny bit of (TMI ALERT!) brown blood to start and then full on with red blood and clots for a day, and then back to a tiny bit of brown blood. It's bothered me a lot. Can't stop thinking about it all.

bluebell17 · 15/12/2016 08:30

Erm..... following my last few messages I decided to do a CB.... and got this faint pos. Problem is there is a dark patch around the bottom of the test screen too so I don't know if it's just an evap line I don't know what my cycles are doing so don't know when I should be testing, and am now worried that if I am pg what that bleed was this weekend. Any advice welcome. Please tell me if I'm going crazy!

BertieBotts · 15/12/2016 08:35

No that looks positive to me. You don't normally get evaporation lines on blue tests. Sometimes you get a bit of flooding but that should fade.

It's normal to bleed a little when your period would have been due and doesn't necessarily mean something's wrong.

I bet you'd get a clearer positive on another test :)

ThirdThoughts · 15/12/2016 08:37

Sorry to here that Loxy, good luck for the future Flowers and in the meantime, have a festive drink on me!

Bluebell, I'm sorry, I hope things settle down into more of a pattern for you soon and you get lucky.

Fingers crossed Jellybabie3 and BertieBotts (I've long admired your MN username, I'm a big Potter fan, though mine is an obscure Pratchett reference!)

Welcome IntelligentPutty it has been a very lucky bus so far, I hope you are lucky too.

BertieBotts · 15/12/2016 08:45

I am going into town today... really tempted to buy a test Blush Should I?! I don't even know when I'll get time to do it! And have a stressful week coming up so might be better not to know Confused

Though... secret santa meal Friday. I suppose I had better test before that just in case.

Jellybabie3 · 15/12/2016 09:07

Thanks Smile no idea when i should test. Got BFN yesterday. TBH im not hopeful. I had so many times this month i thought AF was coming (first full month off pill) i wasnt feeling inclined to dtd as much. In hind sight we should have..... I guess im having a long cycle Confused had a beer at xmas do yesterday. Hope i know one way or the other and if AF is coming she arrives soon so i wont have it over xmas atleast.

Lovechild2016 · 15/12/2016 09:09

Sounds very much like implantation bleeding and a BFP bluebell congratulations. My friend who had IVF had a massive bleed about 10 days after embryo transfer and was really worried but is now 6 months with twins! X

bluebell17 · 15/12/2016 09:21

Lovechild....twins?! Eeeek! Hehe.

Bertiebotts - thanks, I hope it is positive!

I've just done a Morrisons cheapie and it shows negative, but that was my second time trying today and close after FMU used on the CB. Have been and bought a digital so will wait a day or two (or as long as I can hold out) and test again. I am a little scared as the bleeding was the worst I've ever experienced, and I thought implantation was meant to be just spotting?

If I counted the bleed last week as not AF then this would make me on cycle day 23..... so I guess it's possible.... but we only DTD once between my 11 day AF and my recent 4 day bleed. So chances are slim.

Trying not to get my hopes up. If it was an evap line I've read it would've appeared outside of the time window but this came up fairly soon? Also, it's still there, exactly the same.hmmmm.....
Fingers crossed and....
Good luck to you all!

Kskifred · 15/12/2016 10:58

Bluebell that is exactly what happened to me this cycle, my clear blue test was similar to your pic, i also had a heavyish bleed and tests were still saying bfp on clear blue only though (only had ic ones no frer) got bfn on cheapies. Frer yesterday concluded whatever was there isn't anymore, bfn.

I personally won't buy clear blue again as not sure if i trust them but it does look like a bfp, i would go to the drs and maybe get a frer, to confirm? Hope it is still sticky for you x

Ohb0llocks · 15/12/2016 13:35

I think ov has been, here's my testS.

First is yesterday (I think), second is top this morning and bottom just after dinner?

Any guesses when ov might have been?

We DTD Sunday, Tues and last night.

Kirsty8333 · 15/12/2016 14:06

Hi everyone I'm interested in charting my temperature but not sure how to do it? Can anyone help?

BertieBotts · 15/12/2016 14:54

Yep. Do you have a thermometer? It should be a digital one. If you have one already then use that, if not, you can buy a BBT thermometer on amazon very cheaply.

Then you need some way to record it. I recommend using an app (fertility friend is great for charting) but you can also use a notepad next to your bed.

Take your temperature when you wake up before you get out of bed, if you forget, just do it as soon as you remember. Apps like fertility friend will note the difference in time automatically.

You need to do it for a couple of months to see patterns really but most apps will be able to pinpoint when you ovulate. If you're doing it on paper, you're looking for at least 3 temperatures all higher than all the preceding five. The first temperature in that group of 5 denotes the 'cover line' (0.1c over the first temp). That just lets you see the shift more clearly.

Your temperature will drop again when you're about to start your period. If it stays high or climbs again, test.

Tinkerbell2319 · 15/12/2016 14:57

BertieBotts how close to AF does the temp usually drop? Or does it vary depending on the individual? It's my first month tracking BBT so learning the ropes Smile

BertieBotts · 15/12/2016 15:04

Btw - if anyone has a fitbit, they have found that a similar thing happens with resting heart rate. It rises by about 5bpm in the luteal phase and will rise again if you're pregnant. Again you need to track for a while to see patterns.

BertieBotts · 15/12/2016 15:06

Not sure if it's an individual thing. For me it drops the first day.

bluebell17 · 15/12/2016 16:12

Kskifred thank you for sharing, it's useful to know that this isn't unusual. The thing I'm confused about is that when the brown blood started really light last Thursday night, on the Friday AM I took a cheapie test and it was a definite negative. Now I'm getting faint positives. I went back to the Morrisons one a couple of mins after I posted (I had posted straight away before) and it has a faint line too. Although it's even more of a squinter than the CB. I have bought a CB digital and going to TRY and hold out til Saturday to do it!!

ThirdThoughts · 15/12/2016 17:12

BertieBotts I wear a fitbit and had noticed my resting heart rate rise, but I had thought it was just because I had been less active (my RHR dropped significantly over this year when I started doing more exercise and lost weight). It's good to know that I shouldn't be worried about the increase (though staying active is obviously a good idea).

minime2016 · 15/12/2016 20:18

What a busy and very exciting bus this is Grina quick question to our bfp ladies...did you have any ridiculously early symptoms or indicators which made you think mmmm...could this be the month? (Guess who is symptom spotting-AGAIN!)

Kirsty8333 · 15/12/2016 21:24

Thanks bertiebotts. Yeah I've got a thermometer that you use in your ear if that's ok to use?

Ohb0llocks · 15/12/2016 21:39

OPK a lot lighter now, I'm assuming this means surge is done?
