Congratulations third and lynsey carlotta the pregnancy test is positive. It doesn't matter how light/faint the line is and am I correct in thinking you're not yet late for af? Some ladies don't get a positive until they are late.

Found getting pregnant the first time quite easy but have a feeling this time won't be. Trying to stay as relaxed as possible and not thinking about symptoms too much.

Only DTD 2 days before ovulation so not very hopeful for this month but you never know! I've had cramps like AF is coming yesterday and today but nothing yet plus I'm never normally this early for AF.

Really want to avoid testing early so going to try and wait for as long as possible unless AF comes of course. It's going to be hard to resist!

Had taken a seat sulking on the back row but I'm back in FW and think I'm ovulating today. Only dtd last night as been a miserable cow all weekend for no particular reason. Hoping to have the energy tonight once DD is in bed and maybe a cheeky afternoon one tomorrow as we're both off work and DD is at nursery

Is anyone else due AF just after Christmas but thinking of testing early on Christmas Day? AF should be due 29th but my last cycle was really short so based on that I'd be due 26th.

Can't decide if it would make Christmas rubbish if I got a BFN or if it's a good idea in case it is BFP so I lay off the Champagne

OhBollocks dtd every other day is generally better - but if, for example, you know you can only dtd one three days of the month this cycle and you are in the mood three nights in a row then I would go for it if you keep on having daily shenanigans then I've heard that sometimes sperm quality may not be that good. Having said that I got so frustrated last month we dtd 9 times in 16 days could definitely not have kept that up (so to speak). It only takes one lucky time. Anything else is a bonus and increases your chances xx

Jellie yes I had terrible bloating and cramps before BFP. Felt like I normally do when AF due x

MrsCummings please have a baileys for me!! I love baileys but cannot stomach any alcohol or anything milk-based right now 😷

kski in terms of progesterone supplements - are you trying to lengthen your luteal phase? I've started thinking that a short lp might be my issue - its about 10 days I think which is on the brink of officially short. ...
I have just started on some supplements called Agnus castus and also vit b6. I have some progenelone cream too but I'm not starting this yet. ....
We'll see how we go!

Congrats carlotta and Lynseyc wonderful BFPs! blinky and mrscummings I am thinking of testing Christmas morning as although I'm only on CD13 today I was away at weekend (didn't take OPK) but was horny as hell and had EWCM and as my OPK have all been negative since I think I might have ovulated then (could be wrong?). My cycle is only about 26 days so would fit and I think that might be why it's not worked in last two months as wasn't able to dtd until CD 12 at earliest. We can have a little poas xmas party with a win win outcome, booze or baby haha.

Yesterday I got a 'not fertile' on ovulation stick, today I got a flashing face 'high fertility'. Very excited

Mother yes looking to lengthen it - with a suspected chemical pregnancy this month and a fairly short lp anyway, my guess is that if you implant late (12dpo) then you're stuffed?!

I read a lot of things about pregnacare balancing hormones and lengthening lp's, might look at b6 too although don't know if you can take alongside or not?

Argh why is it all so complicated! Feeling pretty pissed off today and all my festive cheer has gone too...tomorrow is a new day though and all that

I'm out for this month AF arrived this evening so I'm feeling totally gutted.

I'm now worried, as today was 10 dpo so stressing that my lp is going to be too short to have a good chance of implantation.

Doesn't help that DH is still away so can't get a much needed hug. His time away has dragged! He's back on Friday morning thank god.

This has been the shortest cycle at 31 days since coming off the pill though. Is there a chance my body might just be getting back into the swing of things and I could have a longer lp next month (she says hopefully!)?

Ok I'm going to order some pregnacare now kski! I've been taking the seven seas ones for months now. I think you can take b6 alongside - I don't think too much is a problem.....
I weirdly think I ovulated super early this month as well - like cd7.... so unsure what on earth is happening. Great.

Luteal phases can lengthen, mine lengthened about 1/2 a day a cycle since the summer, cycle in general used to be about 22 days but managed to get hormones balanced through a bit of a lifestyle change and cycles are now 26 days. I also am looking to lengthen my lp as it's still borderline short if you were to be a late implanter, my guess is you wouldn't get the chance before af. I might be talking rubbish but that's my own body theory anyway x

I'm still flu-y but am convincing DH that I'm well enough to DTD. I'd be devastated to have to miss this month - I never knew a month was so long until we started TTC.
