I always get pain around ovulation - it started last night and continued throughout today. It's very tender and almost crampy.

It's quite common - do you normally not get ov pain?

Yeah but not usually this bad. So it's a sign of ovulation?

For me, yes.

Me too! Currently feel like I've run a marathon I can hardly straighten up it's ridiculous!! Xx

Ovulation pain. It is horrible, but a good thing in the sense that A) you know you are ovulating, and B) knowing exactly when helps with family planning.
A hot water bottle and a lie down help. Good luck, OP!

Btw, you say your fertile window ended, but are you entirely sure? From my understanding, ovulation pain comes when you are actually ovulating - so your fertile window would surround it, rather than end with it. Iyswim.

I take it as a sign ovulation is about to occur, which my opks would agree with. Xx

Do you use ovulation kits or are you using an app to tell you?

I use OPKs and it doesn't always match with the apps I use. Sometimes I will ovulate later or earlier and I have bang on 28 day cycles (mostly)

Ovulation pain for me, starts on my first high day, it feels like a hot poker stabbing be on my peak day.

Usually on one side, this time it started on left and now on right and I feel winded with pain!

I feel bruised for a few days after ovulation, nothing wrong have had so many tests am just very sensitive to it I don't know why I waste my money on kits!

Please just remember that appendicitis also presents on the right hand side of the abdomen. If it doesn't get better soon, get yourself checked out x

I get ovulation pains, but one month I also had cramping pains for a few days after my ovulation pains which from googling sounds like it was from the egg travelling down the Fallopian tube. I did turn out to be pregnant that month but it isn't necessarily a sign that you are.
