TTC 3 and so miserable

I've waited too long and have now been TTC for over a year with no luck whatsoever.

I'm just so miserable and desperate for advice. It's making me crazy and wonder whether I should just put it to bed and go back on the pill and forget about it so the pressure is off IYSWIM.

Been to GP but they say they can't do anything.

Anyone else been in a similar situation. DC 1 took no time at all, DC 2 took 3 months from going off the pill and I thought that was so long!

Hello wallcalendar. Oh bless you. I'm just wondering why you think you've left it too long? If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? If you've been on the pill a while before ttc, that can affect how long it takes. A whole load of reasons can make it take longer. Apart from the obvious (!) what have you tried? Please don't lose heart. I too was tempted to go back on the after ttc for over a year, and I'm so glad I didn't, my baby is finally with me and I'm 40 x

Thanks for replying. Sorry I wasn't clear I mean that we ummed and Ahhed over t for a long time and my other DC are getting older. I really wanted them to grow up together. Not important in the scheme of things I realise.

I haven't really tried anything other than having sex every two to three days for the past year! Grin I did try ovulation sticks so think I got a rough idea of when I ovulate and can identify other symptoms of it around that time. I've been reluctant to do too much charting type stuff because I just feel like that might drive me insane. How did it happen for you in the end?

There's nothing wrong with having a good think before you decide ttc and it certainly doesn't mean you've left it too late! Dtd every 2-3 days is perfect! What I did, and within a month I was pregnant, was same as you with dtd 2-3 days, ditched any testing kits & my plotting 😂 and I took Q10 must be the Ubiquinol one (Google fertility and Ubiquinol) I took Doctor's 200mg for what it's worth, I only took it for a month! Doctor told me to try not to stress as it's been proven stressing about getting pregnant prevents it, but this is a near impossible thing to achieve! Sending you massive hugs x

Should say Doctors Best!

What is Doctor's Best Phoenix?

(I'm with you on feeling miserable btw)

The only time I feel positive is around ovulation.

Link please phoenix ! And thanks for everyone's supportive comments. Really bad day today. Dear dear friend who has been TTC for ages is pregnant and so happy for her but also secretly devastated. Also period is late and working myself up that I'm pregnant but I just know I'm not. Sad

natural-fertility-info.com/antioxidant-ubiquinol.html Hopefully that works! One of many sites about it. Doctors Best is the brand of Q10 I used, you can get it from the Internet, I got mine from EBay. Ttc is one of the hardest, emotional journeys I've been on, I really thought it would be as simple as dtd! And yes to hearing other happy announcements, you want to be happy for them but inside your heart hurts really bad x
