Tee - i dont track ovulation but as this was first cycle on clomid after mmc had a scan at day 14 which showed 2 developing follicles, the fertility dr estimated ovulation at anytime within a few days after that. Progesterone bloods on day 22 were borderline so suggested later ovulation - footy you might be right perhaps a 34 day cycle... also tee i have some cycles in which i am pretty crampy all month dr didnt seem worried and i take it as reassurance that my body is at least trying to do something! I dont know if perhaps ttc we are just more aware of it?

Beagles - im really not sure as its a possibility of 4-5 days i could have ovulated but at a guess id say maybe 16dpo. I think when i fell it was around day 18 of my cycle and bfp was at 12dpo.

Thanks footy - yes dh sister and family live in san francisco so here till new year very lucky and a good distraction from waiting for af.

Thanks mimi hope you feel better soon x

Ttc can be such a long and heartbreaking journey cant it - thank goodness for ladies like you all being prepared to be so open and supportive, at least its not a lonely journey.

Jam fingers crossed for you x

Tee4me · 22/12/2016 00:16

I think you're right Kiki, super aware of everything. Reassuring your dr wasn't alarmed by cramps throughout the cycle.
Happy Birthday to Mini Mim! Hope she had a wonderful day.
Jam sounds like perfect timing, you DTD same day as peak opk, pretty good going all things considered!!

Anyone ever wonder if DTD in 2 week can affect successful conception? I read a couple of things about it potentially interfering with implantation (although the research is very conflicting!!). Just gave into DH, but was a bit distracted wondering about it Confused I know we didn't DTD in the 2ww last time I got a bfp; been letting my mind run away again!

Just read on a thread (during frantic research on above) that cold feet can cause uterine contractions, hence advice to wear socks in 2ww! RANDOM!!!

Mimilicious013 · 22/12/2016 05:19

Morning all
tee the socks thing is the new in lolWink.there are some harmless things to try and like foot says 'keep those feet warm '.dd loved her small celebration and she made us sing happy birthday over and over again. Hope dtd doesn't hinder implantation because I too had to give dh some after him nagging me.

I agree with you kiki this journey is not lonely with all you wonderful ladies. Thank you for being an awesome bunch CakeWineFlowers

Today woke up with cramps but not usual af ones so got a glimmer of hope there. Af due in two days so fx.

DuRezidal · 22/12/2016 07:51

Well another high day on the CBFM for me... that is 10 consecutive ones (now CD16). I think I can officially say that I am out this month as unlikely to ov so close to AF being due (have around 23 day cycle normally).

Onto the next one!

Not going to test again now with CBFM, will start again next month.

Londonjam · 22/12/2016 08:00

Fx mimi!
Enjoy San Francisco Kiki I love that city!
Yes tee keep those feet warm, I think it's recommended in Chinese medicine too. Some reflexology connection maybe? I'm sure I've read DTD in the TWW can help with implantation? I wouldn't worry about doing it.

Still feeling rough today, I hope I have ovulated. Felt ovulation type pains yesterday so hopefully have. Going to check OPK s again today. So frustrating not being able to DTD!?

Londonjam · 22/12/2016 08:02

Durez do you do regular OPK s too? I wonder if they would show the surge. You might have ovulated? Did you get ovulation pain?

Tee4me · 22/12/2016 08:41

Yay Mim! Fingers crossed!!
Jam & DuRez, its times like these that temping really does come in useful!! It can be maddening sometimes when temps aren't behaving as predicted, but so reassuring to wake up the day after you suspect ovulation and see that temp spike up.

Londonjam · 22/12/2016 08:49

Maybe I'll give it a go in the new year. I just don't want to obsess any more than I already do! Xmas Confused

DuRezidal · 22/12/2016 11:56

I am a bit the same ... also wouldn't really be able to do it at the same time every day.

Footy1 · 22/12/2016 12:25

Warning.. Miserable story! Sorry ladies.

I'm going through a bad time and are stepping away from ttc. My husband left me last night. He packed most of his things and just left with the kids watching. I'm absolutely distraught and am in total shock. I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you all and have shared so much over the last 7 months. To think only last week we were dtd and he was so supportive to a row that has resulted in this. To think I'm never going to b able to join you again on this ttc thread really hurts. Will keep checking to hear all your news but for now I need time away as I'm not in a good way and trying to hold it together for the kids sake. Really hope for your BFPs and I'll still be your friend.

Gutted..Sad

physicskate · 22/12/2016 12:35

What the?? Oh Footy I am so so sorry to hear this news! If there is anything I can do to help - please let me know! Care package??

Mimilicious013 · 22/12/2016 12:49

Oh sweetie, so sorry foot.you have been such a lovely friend and very supportive. Be strong my dear and take one day at a time . you can always pm if you need an ear.l have been through loads of downs but always find a way up again so don't despair hun.we are here for you.

Londonjam · 22/12/2016 13:07

oh footy love, I'm shocked. What on earth has happened? Did he say why? Was it just one row - will it blow over?

Sending you hugs and strength my love.

Tryingtostayyoung · 22/12/2016 13:13

Can I join? I'm 28 I've been trying for baby no.2 since Jan, one miscarriage and one chemical pregnancy since. I'm actually 5 days late for my period, I've taken 3 tests and they've all been negative so I'm not to sure what's going on with my body as I am never ever late, has anyone else experienced this? I spoke to the nurse and she told me that I should test again in three days.

Tryingtostayyoung · 22/12/2016 13:14

Footy1 I obviously don't know you but always sad to hear news like this Flowers

physicskate · 22/12/2016 16:52

Hi young. Of course you are welcome! It is a strange day to join our little group! Sorry to hear of your troubles... This ttc business is not as easy as I was taught in school! Sounds like there are quite a few of us still lingering, so it definitely has taken lots longer than hoped/ expected!

Kiki18 · 22/12/2016 17:51

Footy so sorry to hear your news sending love and hope you are ok xx

Welcome young

So AF got me yesterday cant say im suprised i knew it wasnt our month, still solace in the fact we ovulated and roll on 2017 x

Tee4me · 22/12/2016 18:31

Oh goodness Footy, I'm in complete shock! You poor thing! How could he do that with the kids watching and on 21st December?! I'm so so sorry.
Hoping a moment of madness after an argument that just went too far... obviously hard to say without knowing the background, but gather it's a possibility considering he was ttc with you, and therefore presumably happy!!
Stay strong Footy, things will work out for the best one way or another in the end. Will be thinking of you and here if you need to vent. Massive hugs to you, focus on those lovely boys of yours and keep that chin up x

Tee4me · 22/12/2016 18:35

Welcome Young, I have also been trying for baby2 since last Christmas, and 2 miscarriages since (last one was silent last month, picked up at 8 week scan). Was your first a boy by any chance?
How recent was your last MC? Could be affecting your cycle if recent? Otherwise you may have a bfp on the way?! I'm clinging onto the hope that you are more fertile after MC, currently half way through 2ww x

Tee4me · 22/12/2016 18:36

Sorry Kiki, roll on 2017 indeed Flowers

Footy1 · 22/12/2016 19:06

Thanks ladies, yes an argument that went too far over something trivial. Unfortunately I'm up against a very stubborn man who needs to accept everyone has their own opinion. But in my view I wouldn't walk out on a marriage and kids over that. We were absolutely fine 2 days ago and he even gave me my Christmas card with lovely words in it. So as u can imagine it's quite difficult to take it in. I'm very emotional and been a complete mess. Right on top of AF! Lovely.
I'm still in shock and worried what the future holds. He's not been in contact so what can I do? Feel so upset/angry over how the boys have been effected in this. Really and truly a shattered Christmas I'm just left to pick up the pieces. Thanks girls for your support.

I really don't want to block up this thread with my misery.. You girls are going through enough with ttc and your own worries. Xx

Londonjam · 22/12/2016 19:40

Footy talk about it all you need. We're a lil family here and have been chatting with each other all year! I feel like I know you! Can't believe your DH has done this right before Christmas. Has he got a very hot temper? It doesn't sound like he wants to actually leave , it just sounds like he lost his rag and wants to make a big point / show you he means business.

I think it's for you to think about whether you want to continue being with someone who can treat you like this hon. It's not fair on you or your boys.

Could there be anything else going on with him that he's not sharing? It seems crazy to blow up like this over a disagreement.

Londonjam · 22/12/2016 19:41

Sorry Kiki hope you're alright
Welcome young

Tryingtostayyoung · 22/12/2016 22:10

Thank you all for being so welcome I've found ttc quite lonely over the last year.
physicskate I couldn't agree more!! My first pregnancy was textbook one time failed contraception that luckily DH and I was shocked but ecstatic about which I think led me to believe that I "would fall pregnant really easily again" was I wrong!! I can't believe I'm nearing on a year now.

Kiki18 thank you!!

Tee4me my first was a girl actually!! My MC was a few cycles ago and my period have been on point since then, I'm obviously hoping and hoping this is it but I just don't understand why I wouldn't have already had a positive, the nurse seemed to think there was still a very good chance but I suppose I'll just wait and see!!

Londonjam thank you!!

Footy1 that sounds awful! What a terrible time you sound like your having. I too am married to an extremely stubborn man and sometimes things can spiral from nowhere. Hope your ok.

MotherOfBeagles · 22/12/2016 22:12

Sorry I've been away ladies had a few mental days and late nights with Christmas parties. I'll try and catch up in a minute but first footy I am so sorry that really is awful. You know we're here for you, I wish there was something I could say or do to make it easier. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and focus on your boys and you'll be okay in the end. Even though that feels impossible right now. Really thinking of you tonight Flowers
