Brown "blood" confusing me

Hi all,
I'm quite new to this, never had brown blood in my life.
I have 3 children (14,10 and 9)
We've been trying for the past 9 years to have our last child. At first it was constant miscarriages and eventually my Doctor asked me to go on the pill to "rest my womb"
I came of the pill in January and last month (once my periods became regular) we decided to actively try...
I last had a period on 28th October, 12 days after that we began trying, it was 5 days after that I had a small amount of jelly discharge with a very little spotting in it.
On 30 November I took a test (Negative) as I am now regular on a 28 day cycle. Then it became confusing for me.
On 2nd December I was setting up the school for a fair, and if I'm being honest I did a lot of lifting and running around. After the fair (on the 3rd) I had mild cramping and when I checked my underwear some brown blood. I put on a pad thinking my period was starting.
A bit about me, I always have heavy periods and they are always painful.
Later on the evening of the 3rd I wiped to see the bleeding had stopped.
For the next few days I wore and changed pads but I never had any blood on the. There was no cramping but there was brown jellyish blood every time I wiped. I also felt queasy each evening but was never physically sick.
I visited the doctor on the 6th who took a urine test (negative) but when she tried to do a speculum, I was in agony from the rear. Unfortunately there was no further advice...
Has anybody experienced this? If so, what happened or caused it?
Sorry for the long story!

Sorry to hear that. I'd go back to the doctor, TBH...

The problem with my doctor is it can take 3 weeks for an appointment, I;m trying to call for my regular doctor every morning at 8 but by the time I get through all the appointments are gone, just really looking for people who have experienced similar to help with any confusion Confused

It sounds like you have an infection. The pain in the bottom is a clue. I would go back to your doc asap.

they took a swab of my cervix when they done the speculum... Normally they call if something comes back but I'll ring them on Monday just to check

I think the whole confusing part is with reading other responses...
I've only had 1 day brown gunky blood on a pad then 3 days with wiping only
Reading other posts people are saying implantation bleeding, eptopic etc... but then there is the negative test.. The pain wasn't in my bottom as such, it was the rear of the neck of my cervix. (I'm ridiculously bad at explaining things)

swab came back clear, no infection, no further action from doctor..
Still in a confused state, nausea each day, last period 29 October, I'm 95% sure there was a faint line on pregnancy test yesterday, waiting and other few days to week to retest..
Has anyone had the above symptoms please? Sad
