CBFM and first morning urine??

Hi!

I have just started using the Clearblue Advanced Fertility Monitor last month. I did not get a peak then. This month I got a peak on CD12. But the thing is, I usually measure every morning at 6 AM before going to work with first morning urine and I never got a peak until today when I actually slept very long since I am fatigued; woke up after 11 hours of sleep, measured at 9 AM and got a peak! I am wondering if maybe my urine just needs to be extra saturated to measure LH correctly? If so, not even the second morning urine at 9:00 would help because it would be too diluted since I would be having first morning urine at 6 AM?

Concentrated urine does certainly help get an accurate reading. But they usually say to hold for 4 hours so your fmu at any time for Clear Blue should be fine. (other opks are best mid-afternoon, but clear blue do things differently and measure other stuff too so fmu is best for that kind).
Not everyone ovulates every month so that could be the case last time, or it may just be that you had a drink in the night diluting your fmu. But congrats on your peak today! Get dtd and good luck!!

Thanks:))! The additional thing is following: I am positive I am 8 weeks pregnant, I just can't get a bfp! I have obvious Montgomery tubercles on my boobs, purple and very sore nipples! Now, could it be that this peak is actually pregnancy?? I guess I will have to wait and see...:)

Rather frustratingly your ovulation symptoms are very similar to early pregnancy symptoms (what you describe can be either). If you treat it as ovulation and get dtd today and tomorrow then test on the 22nd if you have a bfp it should be showing by then either way. Best of luck!

*when I said your ovulation symptoms I meant everybody's in general
