Trying to conceive

Hello All

Im hoping someone might be able to advise because Im driving myself mad. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 2 months . I used the clear blue fertility monitor and it gave me a peak LH surge on cycle day 16 . My periods are generally between 28 to 31 days long with the exception of one month ever I had a 43 day cycle .
I am now approximately 4 days late . I have taken three CB pregnancy test and they are all negative. My last period was 02 /11 , ovulated on day 16 or 17 . It is now the 07th of December . I think im about 4 days late . Would that be right ?
Is it possible it could be false - ? it seems very unlikely. Has anyone had this experience before . I have no symptoms if Im honest . No PMS symptoms or pregnancy symptoms. Feel totally happy and myself

Hello! It's the hardest and longest wait isn't it? I would take digital one which will give you the most accurate yay or neigh...if it's a no...wait out the period and if no show by next week, test again. They do a two pack of digitals. My own P's are irregular and I've no idea when I'd test....impossible to say when. We've just started TTC number two. No one was easy but no 2 may take longer.

Did you start taking pregnacare conception or similar? It can lengthen cycles for some women, it did for me.

The ovulation test does not guarantee you have ovulated, only that your body geared up for it. You may not have ovulated until much later, or you may have missed it completely. Both of these are normal. All you can do is wait it out. First Response Early Result tests are the most sensitive on the market. The digital ones are not sensitive at all. If you must do another test get a First Response. If it is negative I would personally take that as gospel.

Thanks for the response guys . Yes I was thinking the same too . Perhaps I just didn't ovulate this cycle . I guess the best thing to do is just have regular sex throughout and that way I cant miss it .
Im going to take one last test in a few days , ill be on cycle day 40 then . If that is negative chances are im not preggers .
