1st cycle of txt and used opk's after reading up on here about them. Tested from cd9 and have slowly gotten darker when I got this last night, cd15 - would you take as your positive?

I'd say that if you took another one today mid morning you might get a total positive. But if I'm honest, I'd class that as positive and I'd be DTD today! Good luck!

Thanks Mouse

I think I may have missed the surge as I took one 1st thing yesterday which I was hopeful about and then this one last night, DTD last and took another this morning and it's fading already!

I was at work yesterday so didn't test during the day - but wouldn't have been able to dtd anyway!

Feel like I'm learning something new everyday! Blush

It's all very complicated isn't it! I had never heard of opk's until i joined here, I thought people just DTD everyday between periods, which sounds like way more fun.... Grin

Good luck :)

Ideal time to use an OPK is 2pm and to not drink/urinate for at least 3 hours before. Never use FMU. And in the evening is ok if you're not drinking for 3 hrs. If you missed your surge you'll most likely be ovulating 12-36 hrs after the surge. So DTD as much as you can. However it's not a complete confirmation that you have ovulated unless you get a temp rise and a positive pregnancy. X
