Hello :)

I wonder if anyone could give me some words of advice or re-assurance,
I used the Clear Blue ovulation stick tests and sure enough got a huge smiley face on the evening of 25th November my other half and i and sex on the 24th (evening) and also on the 26th(morning) we also had sex a few times in the week... i am now 12 DPO and have tested but keep getting BFN's :( i'm assuming i start my AF on 8th Dec.. i say assume only because i was on the pill came off and had the usual withdrawal bleed.. but i haven't actually had a proper AF since.

I don't feel pregnant.. have a bad low back but thats quite normal for me

Is there a chance i could still be pregnant but i'm testing too early?

xx

There's absolutely a chance you're pregnant and a lot of people don't have symptoms this early. The best thing is to give it a couple/few days wait till af is late to test again.

We've all been there, the waiting is awful, but try to relax and distract yourself and if you're pregnant then you'll know soon Smile

Absolutely, and you're more than welcome. It can feel crappy and lonely and panicky waiting each month, I totally get it and you're not alone!

Maybe tell yourself when you'll test again, first thing in the morning, and don't give in before that day, whenever it is!

If this isn't the month then remember that things can take a little while to settle down when you one off the pill, especially if you've been on it for a while.

It's the most pointless advice in the world, the months of etc and the dreaded 2ww feel like the longest ever, but try and keep yourself busy with other things, don't let it take over your life, be healthy and look after yourself, and it'll happen in time.

My advice is its much easier to assume you havent conceived and get the happy surprise when you do than convince yourself youre pregnant and be disappointed. Easier said than done i know Flowers

Darn. Typed you out a reply and it went!
You could be pregnant! Remember implantation can take up to 12 days so it may only just be happening... so not enough hcg yet to show up on a test? Give it a few days and teSt again. Good luck!

Thanks ladies! 😊 Yeah I know I'm trying not to think to much about it but it's really hard :( I will test again when AF is late and hope for the best.. just so disappointing to get BFN'S... Sad I'm due thursday I think so will test Friday

This is great for giving hope! Plenty of people who only test positive well after period due!

Fingers crossed!

The problem is, if you're coming off the pill and you've not had a normal period yet, you don't know when it's due!! I had a 50 day cycle and then a 23 day cycle. It's very normal to be irregular and not know where you are in your cycles. I would say that you probably need to wait for AF now. If she's not here by CD50/60 then test again. You'll only be waiting again even if you do get a BFP. X
