After implant...missed AF by 10 days...BFN x 2...what's going on?!

First time on here and I've probably read a million threads about the same thing but I'm just making myself go crazy!

Had the contraceptive implant for 6 years back to back...had it taken out at the end of August. After a month I tried to take the mini pill but we decided to just leave it and see what happens. Stopped the pill after about 2 weeks so no contraception throughout end of Sep/Oct/Nov. Now my period is 10 days late. No signs AF is arriving apart from some cramps about a week ago. No signs of pregnancy and 2 BFNs. Do I just need my cycle to return to normal or could I be with child?!

Help please!

I'd say you need to wait for AF. Sorry but cycles can be weird after BC. X

Thanks! At least I know not to send myself crazy. 15 days over now 😬😬

Had implant removed on 7/11 & no af in sight. Ovulation tests were positive though during Ovia predicted week & waiting for AF around 19/12. Your body is adjusting, give it time.

I think it can take 3-6 months for your cycle to settle after the implant, though someone here may come along with more details.

I recommend to anyone to start temping, as it's the only way to know what's happening in your cycle. Taking Charge of your Fertility should be standard reading for all teens onwards!

It took me a few months for cycles to settle down after stopping the pill, suspect this is true of a lot of contraception. Do you know if/when you ovulated this month? AF is normally 14 days after if that helps at all.
