LisaSimpsonsbff · 05/12/2016 17:02

Yet again we've managed to exchange nearly 1000 posts swapping our tales of peeing on sticks, dancing for babies, trying to stop Auntie Flo's all too frequent visits, and sometimes, just sometimes, of Big Fat Positives! So let's begin thread five with some updated stats. Me first...

Age 29
Cycle #4
Cycle day 1

Poor hound, basset - is she ok?

Fx that both yours and pjs knicker watches stay resolutely event-free, with not a single spotting of AF!

OP posts:
Pyjamas81 · 19/12/2016 14:36

Oh no - poor pooch basset. They always look so sad with the cone of shame on!

Hope we both have totally uneventful Knicker watches - never thought I'd have a Knicker watch buddy ha ha.

I still have the weird stabby pains (but very mild) and absolutely no other symptoms. Nothing. Nada. Zilch. I just want to know either way - wish DH was here so I could just test!

And hello Kirsty! anymore symptoms? And have you told parents?

HellsBellsK · 19/12/2016 15:08

Can I join the knicker watch too Smile keep going to the loo to see if I have any spotting so far nothing. Have a bit of CM but thats it - guessing that could be AF on the way tomorrow.
Little bit cramps again today. Only difference this cycle is my lower back isn't sore which it usually would be the week leading up to AF but again don't want to read anything into it.
Expecting BFN tomorrow as we only managed to DTD twice in FW as I was sick.

Fingers Crossed Pj and Basset really hope we have good news in the coming days. x

Pyjamas81 · 19/12/2016 15:21

Welcome to knicker watch hells! Fx for all of us!

bassetmum · 19/12/2016 17:23

Your DH will be there soon pjs. I'm still getting the pinchy pains too. The puppy has a lump under her eye which she made bleed so back on antibiotics again.

Welcome to knicker watch hells. Drives you nuts after a while at least im off work this week so not having to look like a loon going to the loo too often.

Hippychic79 · 19/12/2016 17:25

Also on knicker watch ladies 😂
Fx all
Xxxxxx

JeNeBaguetteRien · 19/12/2016 21:36

AF has decided to show up early so after a bit of self-indulgence today I have dusted myself down and am going to a party on Wednesday night. All my time thinking up ways to disguise not drinking would have been better spent doing a few sit ups to look good in my dress! Oh well. Onwards and upwards and my fingers are still crossed for you lot, Here's to an uneventful KW (Knicker Watch) to you all!

HellsBellsK · 19/12/2016 22:15

Ah sorry JeNe Flowers Enjoy the party and have a nice few glasses od Wine
I have a feeling I will be joining you tomorrow. AF is due in the morning and iv started to get cramps. Hopefully I'm wrong but don't think so.

Looking at the positives I'm going to eat a lot of paté and smelly cheese over the next week or two!

Dixiechick1991 · 19/12/2016 22:22

Any help please.
I'm usually a 28-30 day cycle, so I should have ovulated about 2 weeks ago CD17 (I didn't opk on the day but I did a bit before and it was on the up to a +opk) anyway I did another opk last week (who knows why, just nosey) on CD25 and got a +opk then which moved my cycle to be approximately 39 days instead...so I tried an opk again tonight (cd32) and got the a second line that looks the same as it does either 2 days before or 2 after my surge.
I'm a bit confused are my ovaries going wild...anyone else got experience of this?
So becaus of the the +opk I got on cd25, AF is now due on Boxing Day. I can't keep track.
I've attached today's opk test so CD32

MouseLove · 19/12/2016 22:30

You can get OPKS like that at any stage in your cycle Dixie so don't be worried. They also pick up the surge before AF so you might be experiencing that. Sorry if the witch shows. Have you done a HPT?

Pyjamas81 · 19/12/2016 22:30

Arse - sorry JeNe Flowers Definitely indulge yourself over Christmas. Your attitudes is great - onwards and upwards indeed, it's all we can do!

Hi Dixie - I may be wrong (someone feel free to correct me if needed!), but I think we all have LH in our system at varying levels throughout our cycle (I get near positive tests near AF sometimes for example) , so if I were you I'd only take notice of the true positive opk you got. Hope that helps!

KW still uneventful here! Have gone to the loo at least 85 times ha ha

LisaSimpsonsbff · 20/12/2016 08:58

Sorry about AF, jene. Enjoy your party and yep, onwards and upwards!

I'm sort of imagining KW with an Attenborough style voice over in my head!

Pyjamas81 · 20/12/2016 10:01

So I caved and tested as was awake at 4am and thinking about it - was sick of thinking 'what if' as still no sign of AF. BFN Sad - which I should have been prepared for given my temps, but it's still a kick in the teeth. Am 16dpo, and not even a hint of a line on a FRER, so I'm out. AF being late must be due to travelling and jet lag. So annoyed I symptom spotted yet again. Just want AF to arrive now so she can fuck off in time for our camping trip on Thurs. On to cycle 7. I'm just so bored with it all.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 20/12/2016 13:01

So sorry, pjs - that's rubbish news. Be nice to yourself today (DH is arriving this evening, isn't he? Hopefully you can cheer each other up) and hope AF comes soon so she can piss off again soon. Flowers

Thanks Lisa - it's a bitch, but at least DH arriving later. In the meantime, the pics below sum it all up nicely.

Sorry ladies, been AWOL again. Hope everyone is doing OK and that AF stays away for those of you in the final throes of the TWW! I'm in my FW and been using OPKs for the first time - wasn't sure that temping would really be that accurate this month with drinking etc. over the festivities! Got a solid smiley this morning though which was nice - good to pee on something and it actually be +ive!
Normally DTD every second day throughout fertile week but wondering about trying to up the ante a bit this month since we are both a bit relaxed with Christmas coming up.... but similarly don't want to tire out DH.... Hmm tricky...

Pyjamas81 · 20/12/2016 13:44

And I'm out - AF is here Xmas Angry

florafoxtrot · 20/12/2016 13:49

Sorry to hear that PJs. TTC is absolutely rubbish!! Make sure to have the biggest glass of wine you can find. Sod it being Tuesday!

Pyjamas81 · 20/12/2016 13:55

It's 9am here - might have wine for breakfast ha ha

florafoxtrot · 20/12/2016 14:46

If you add orange juice it becomes totally acceptable. Go for it!

Eva30 · 20/12/2016 15:06

I'm so sorry pjs - I really thought it was your month. And jeNe tooFlowers pjs on the positive side, it's nearly xmas, you can have alcohol and hubby gets there soon!
lisa hells bassett how are you all getting on, and anyone else due AF/BFP? Hope there's some more before Xmas Xmas Grin

bassetmum · 20/12/2016 15:53

Oh no sorry pjs what a bitch witch that she arrived at least you can have as much chocolate and booze as you like over Christmas and New Year. You've got to remember its passed 12 somewhere in the world Xmas Wink

I think I am going to be out too. Im starting to get my usual pre af hormonal headache. Shes due Thursday so we will see.

Fx hells.

HellsBellsK · 20/12/2016 15:57

Sorry only getting a chance to pop in now - crazy day in work.
So sorry Pj really hoped it was your month. But enjoy Christmas and drink all the wine, smelly cheese etc that you can get your hands on.
2017 a fresh new year and I bet BFP is just around the corner.

flora ah the smiley I loved seeing that enjoy the FW Grin . The relaxed approach is what I plan to do next cycle as we will both be off over Christmas.

Hi Eva how are you?
Nothing to really report here AF hasn't arrived yet Ovia said it was due today. Not getting my hopes up as the period tracker I was using for years just to know when my period was due says AF is due tomorrow and that one is usually spot on.
One of my friends just rang and told me she is pregnant - But I am so so happy for her as she has been trying for over a year.
Wish tomorrow would hurry up and come at this point - if AF doesn't show up I may POAS on Thursday.

HellsBellsK · 20/12/2016 15:58

Sorry missed you Bass fx for you too.
I also think Im out getting cramps and back is stating to ache now which is usually a sign for me.

Pyjamas81 · 20/12/2016 16:11

So lovely to 'see' you again Eva! How are things?

You're right basset - and it is Christmas after all, the only time of year where morning drinking is acceptable Xmas Wink

Thanks hells - I really thought it was our month too, but it is what it is.

Hope everyone's KW carries on being uneventful!

I'm feeling a bit better now. Have ordered ubiquinol which I'll start taking this cycle and I've decided to only temp until ovulation is picked up. Temping every day in TWW is too stressful and pointless!
