LisaSimpsonsbff · 05/12/2016 17:02

Yet again we've managed to exchange nearly 1000 posts swapping our tales of peeing on sticks, dancing for babies, trying to stop Auntie Flo's all too frequent visits, and sometimes, just sometimes, of Big Fat Positives! So let's begin thread five with some updated stats. Me first...

Age 29
Cycle #4
Cycle day 1

Hi eva!
*
Lisa* sometimes you can get the flashing ones for a while but maybe you are ovulating earlier.

Oooo pjs sounds promising.

Well ladies has anyone ever experienced a pinching/stabbing feeling in a singular spot? Yesterday whilst driving home from work I had a very localised sharp pinching feeling that did make me go ouch but it went away as fast as it came. I was approx 7dpo yesterday so trying really hard not to think it was implantation Confused.

bassetmum · 16/12/2016 10:43

Oh dear massive bold fail there

Yep - I've had that since about 7/8dpo basset - next to impossible to not let our thoughts run away from us isn't it?!

bassetmum · 16/12/2016 11:15

It's completely nuts isnt it how our thoughts run away. I still can't believe even four months down the ttc journey that they still tell teenagers even looking at boy you get upduffed.

Although my mum did make a comment last night about when are little ones coming!!!

Pyjamas81 · 16/12/2016 11:21

I know - had NO idea it would be this hard when I was at school. Although to be fair, I probably had a better chance then, than I do now ha ha.

My mum is the same although took it a step further - she said "I want grandchildren, so when DH arrives next week, I'm not letting you leave your room. You have work to do!" CRINGE.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 16/12/2016 11:53

Early ov would be nice basset, but swiftly learning that not getting your hopes up is the key to this TTC malarkey! I would love a shorter first part of the cycle - 20 days from AF to ov seems to drag on forever impatient

Oh, that is cringe indeed, pjs - but also quite sweetly supportive!

I think one of the many rubbish things about TTC is you become so hyper aware of your body that you start noticing all kinds of things and not knowing if they're normal or not! I remember I was a bit like this when I had my coil fitted - I was so certain that I could feel it, and it was only actually when I had it out and asked to see it (out of some morbid curiosity) that I realised it was half the size that I had imagined and so clearly couldn't reach where I thought I could feel it!

Basset & Pj I have also had the stabbing pain this cycle. Only lasts a few seconds and goes away. Trying not to read into it.

So tired again today but just had our pre school Christmas show - 44 children so I would say thats why I am so tired.

DH also commented last night that my boobs look huge... I am a small b/c normally. But putting that down to AF as they normally look a bit bigger before she arrives.

Pyjamas81 · 16/12/2016 14:45

Oooo fx for you HellsBells - I'm an A cup, so barely anything to measure by lol. Doesn't stop me constantly prodding them like a crazy woman all day long to see if it hurts. Of course it hurts, I'm jabbing myself in the boobs!

Hope you get an earlier ov Lisa!

Sharl2017 · 16/12/2016 15:34

pyjamas that's made me laugh and cringe for you. Hopefully being locked in your room will work for you and your DH

Pyjamas81 · 16/12/2016 15:50

Ha ha thanks Sharl - it's a far cry from when I was a teen and no boys allowed in my room, or at least have the door open!

Sharl2017 · 16/12/2016 16:19

I hear ya! Haha pyjamas
Used to be so worried I'd fall pregnant.. ironic.

Lozalooloo3 · 16/12/2016 16:20

Hi all,
New here.
First cycle TTC.
I have endometriosis so been told by specialist to give it 6 months and then he will need to do some tests, as my endo is quite bad. I'm hoping it happens naturally!
It's only first cycle but I'm obsessed already.
I have the digital ovulation test, has flash smiley face for 3 days but no solid one to show peak fertility yet!
I know I'm overthinking it all, have a horrible pressure heavy feeling down there today, like I need to pee! Prob got a UTI knowing my luck!
Nice to speak to you all. X

Blissfulignorance · 16/12/2016 17:55

Evening all (my morning)
So thought AF was going to show yday as starting having brown spotting, nothing last night, nothing today. Spotting has stopped. Obviously my mind got the better of me and I took a CB digi. Longest 3 minutes of my life later bfn! I'm now in unknown territory as I've not been this late before and not known why.

I've decided to google how to give myself a hysterectomy just so I can physically kick my uterus for being so shit.

Welcome newbies.

Pyjamas81 · 16/12/2016 18:08

Oh blissful - TTC really is shit, but you really just made me laugh a whole lot. That is exactly how I feel!

Pyjamas81 · 16/12/2016 18:17

Really sorry about the bfn though Sad

MoonlightMojitos · 16/12/2016 19:22

Hey ladies just quickly checking in, haven't caught up properly yet so sorry to everyone I've missed and welcome and fx to the newbies!

pjs those temps are looking good missus! You should know by now to try not to symptom spot, I didn't have any symptoms til I was a good 5 weeks so don't count yourself out yet! When are you testing?

Sorry mouse that you're having to take a break enjoy some drinks and treats over Christmas! What is the mri for? Is it related to ttc?

Congrats kirsty!

blissful fx for you, you're not out yet! Digi tests are the least sensitive and notoriously insensitive so test again in a few days with fmu!

I'm 16+2 now, it's going so fast!

Sounds like quite a few in 2ww so fx for a batch of BFPs soon!

bassetmum · 16/12/2016 20:02

Wow mojitos 16 weeks already. Are you planning on finding out the gender?

Sorry for the bfn bliss. Hopefully you get an answer soon.

I keep having that weird pinching feeling and i have a rather strange headache tonight.

Pyjamas81 · 16/12/2016 20:38

16 weeks mojitos! Amazing! Lovely to see you again and hear all is well Smile Yes - every month I tell myself that I absolutely will not symptom spot, then my toe starts hurting or something and I convince myself I must be having triplets at least.

I am so bloated today - probably AF sign, but my goodness it's painful!

Sharl2017 · 16/12/2016 21:14

Sorry to hear about bfn bliss giggled at the uterus comment

Mandraki · 16/12/2016 21:22

Hi all,

I'm Mandraki, 26, going to start trying in January. Came off the pill after 10 years in October, and finally had a positive ovulation test today, which I was so happy about! I just wanted to know I was up and running again haha, won't be doing ovulation tests once we start, or charting, just going to DTD every other day and see what happens. We're so excited!

MoonlightMojitos · 16/12/2016 23:23

bassett yes we're going to find out. I hate suprises lol far too much of a planner for that! Will update you all when we find out :). Although I'll fall off the bed if they say it's a girl lol.

pj 😂 the symptoms are so similar anyway, I don't miss the second guessing. Although unfortunately now it's a whole new world of worries at every twinge! Can't wait to go back to not analysing my body every day. Fx for you!

MouseLove · 17/12/2016 01:58

Moonlight I'm so glad you keep popping in Hun!!! 16 weeks already. Wowzers!! MRI is for my hips and pelvis. I've been having lots of joint issues. Hoping it's not all upside down in there. X

In other news. It's like my body knows I'm not TTC this cycle. EWCM in abundance still and it's CD20 today. Do one!!

JoanneF26 · 17/12/2016 08:45

So CD 26 after the pill and AF has arrived for the 1st time in about 3/4 years (the pill I was on stopped then all together!)

The cramps as soon as I opened my eyes came flooding back Sad have a night with the girls tonight which means I can enjoy a drink Wine with out wondering what if!

A little bit disappointed that my LP has only been 9/10days but fully understand it maybe subject to change while coming off the pill.

On to cycle 2!

LisaSimpsonsbff · 17/12/2016 09:45

Sorry about AF joanne but good that your cycle is beginning to get back on track - new cycle now and a whole new chance to get pregnant!

Sorry that you're having such a frustrating time, mouse - it really is sod's law.
