PG after a MMC, about five weeks. Have been stupidly testing most days (god knows why) and lines have been getting darker. Just did a test this afternoon and the line is quite faint. Do you think this is anything to worry about? PG after a MC is no fun. Trying to keep the anxiety under control!

No, you're probably doing yourself more harm by worrying and stressing out. Please try to relax and enjoy. A line is a line. X

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Unfortunately as much as I want to reassure you I can't. Even if I was a highly trained doctor I couldn't. Pregnancy is scary and terrifying (prepping you for motherhood i think!). All I can say is anxiety is awful, it can over take your life. The way I deal with it is to live in the now. At the moment you are fine, so relax, breathe and step away from the pregnancy tests. Bake a cake, read a book do anything to distract yourself.

Good luck.

Good point. I'm at work and a bit bored so thats probably why it's on my mind so much. When I'm busy I don't think about it! Thanks! It is nerve-wracking but worrying will change nothing. And repeat. Thank you.

5 weeks from conception or LMP? Google the hook effect.

Just tested again and lines dark as they were before. I'm losing it! In normal life I'm about as chilled as you can get. Need to focus on work then keep busy. The lines mean nothing anyway, they were positive even when I knew it was a MMC. Pass me a grip!

It's very hard- I had a mmc at 12 weeks and have since had a healthy baby and I am 18 weeks pregnant now. With my first baby I tested all the time, went for 3 early private scans...the worry doesn't pass, I'm sorry to tell you! However, book in for an early scan (I think after six weeks? Tell midwife about your past experience and they may offer a reassurance scan) and once you see the heartbeat, it's so much better! Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy- I'm sure it'll be fine x

Thank you. Have a scan booked in about a week's time. Need to keep mind and body occupied in meantime. The very best of luck with your pregnancy.
