Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Also twotting. And watching Christmas films, writing Christmas cards, highlighting the Christmas Radio Times. I kinda like Christmas...

TMI question impending - anyone suffer from bartholin cysts? Ive had a least six in the two years since coming off the pill and my latest one is quite painful Sad

angelazul · 10/12/2016 18:26

Sorry nova I've no experience of bartholin cysts, they sound horrible though Flowers

So it's looks like AF is on her way - spotting this afternoon & that "heavy" feeling down below. 2 days late this month, such a bloody bitch Angry Angry DH is going out to get the wine & chocolate in, he's such an angel

ScottishLady7 · 11/12/2016 09:36

nova if it is sore it might be worth seeing the GP in case it is infected or needs to be incised and drained?

How's everyone else doing?

angel your husband sounds like a star! Has the witch arrived in all her glory now? FlowersChocolate
corgi how are you doing? Any more scans coming up? Thinking of you lots!
kwick how are you getting on? Apologies if you have already said, but what is your next step?

Hope everyone else is doing ok! Feeling positive about a little pre-Christmas BFP flurry... Gx!!!

kwick · 11/12/2016 09:49

nova WTH is a bartholin cyst? Confused

Hiya scottish

So I am doing a stimulated IUI this time - waiting for day 7 scan right now hoping they do not want to see me again until Thursday as I am on a work trip from today until wed evening

Am totally unprepared for Christmas...

angelazul · 11/12/2016 09:58

Still no sign of her Scottish, tested this morning & got a bfn. Wish she'd just arrive now instead of teasing me like this Sad

stumblymonkey · 11/12/2016 10:14

Hello viroids

I used to be on the thread, disappeared for a while, now back...

Name: Stumblymonkey
Age: 34
TTC: DC1 on and off since Jan 16
DC: Zero
DCats: Increased from 2 to 4 fur babies!

TBH we're not really trying very hard at the moment as we're getting wed next December but if it happens, it happens

But I've missed the viroids and would like to come along for the ride.

I had three months recently of bleeding between periods (heavily and prolonged - like another period). Got my thyroid levels tested and they were fine. Got referred for internal ultrasound to check for PCOS.

Since I'm a fatty quite overweight I was expecting I had PCOS but apparently all is looking good on the ultrasound. Bleeding has now stopped so who knows what that was about Hmm

stumblymonkey · 11/12/2016 10:16

Also particularly waving at Just, Kwick, Scottish, Corgi and Cori. I've missed the LOLs on here Grin

kwick · 11/12/2016 10:33

Kwick snogs stumbly!!!! I have missed you!!!!

So viroids I am pleased to say the drugs seem to be working just had a day7 scan - 2 follicles at 11mm, 1 at 8mm and some below 6mm. This is good news!!!!

kwick · 11/12/2016 10:38

I told the Dr that once I finally have a baby I will publish my book on the benefits of copious amounts of blue milk on the lead up to ovulation Grin

TriJo · 11/12/2016 12:04

Um... I think we're coming back.

TriJo/32/London

One DS, 8.5 months old (g'wan March Madness!)

Have had to come off my pill for mental health reasons and we do want #2 anyway so we're taking the "feck it, let's see what happens" approach. We're in no rush and I'm still breastfeeding anyway.

NovaArt3mis · 11/12/2016 13:03

scottish it appears to have gone down on its own overnight. The tea tree oil sitz bath usually do the trick.

kwick it's a charming little (or for some people big) lump on the vaginal opening/labia as a result of a blocked bartholin gland (I'd never heard of it either til I got one!) Fab news about your scan, what are the next steps?

Just realised I've been so pre-occupied with Christmas I haven't googled 'XXdpo symptoms' once so far this tww!

kwick · 11/12/2016 13:51

Welcome back trijo!!!

nova that sounds none too pleasant. What is the cause?
So my next step is continue injecting Merional (225 tonight and again on Tuesday), then a scan and bloods on Thursday.
I am on my way to the airport now - fx my luggage, containing stabbing equipment, is not lost...
My clinic tracks my LH and when that starts to rise, and at least one follicle is bigger than 16mm then I will injwct to trigger ovulation and they will insert the magic potion. FX all the stars align!!!

stumblymonkey · 11/12/2016 14:27

Have distracted myself from work by starting to think of titles for Kwick's new book...

DIY Just Shagging: Man Milk and Blue Milk, A Memoir?

kwick · 11/12/2016 15:37

That is so funny stumbly!!! Keep them coming!!!

jellypi3 · 11/12/2016 18:02

Fistbump tri for the "not trying/not preventing" camp! Xmas Grin

I got the jizz last week, and very randomly had some apparent EWCM for 2 days after. Could also have been left over lube but I did wash in betweenWink So no idea what it was!

2ducks2ducklings · 11/12/2016 18:32

Nova I've had them. They tend to appear on some scarring I have as a result of the birth of my daughter. One popped last year (sorry Confused) and that wasn't pleasant. I've been to the Drs a number of times but have been told each time that they're nothing to worry about and nothing (other than surgery) will get rid of them. They do come and go and, until they burst, are mostly painless

kwick · 11/12/2016 19:03

I have never liked Davina much even less after reading she "timed" her TTC so that she could continue to host Big Brother... how lucky that her body behaved itself Angry

corgi88 · 11/12/2016 20:00

stumbly! I've missed you! Welcome back to the viroid bosom.
Angel hugs - would punch that bloody witch in the face for you if I could. Is she actually here yet? As always you aren't out until she is...
Kwick good follicle action! Keeping my gx for you tightly. Also - bloody Davina.....
Scottish thanks for thinking of me lovely - I am still lurking here and very very anxious... Have 12 week scan the week after next - currently 10+6. Thyroid is behaving so far. Not much else I can really do except wait and drink non alcoholic mulled wine Xmas Grin Wine how are you? When are you due to poas?
Nova glad your cyst has gone down, sounds sk painful !
Wave to tri and jelly - hello!

kwick · 11/12/2016 20:32

corgi non alcoholic mulled wine??? Please explain - I must get some!!! I guess if you cook long enough you cook off the alcohol right? Confused

coribeth · 11/12/2016 20:32

Hey stumbly Grin
I too am twotting cd20 went out last night rolled in at five am so this really is my last chance laws all remaining eggs are well and truly pickled!!! Xmas Grin

coribeth · 11/12/2016 20:33

Haha bold fail!

stumblymonkey · 11/12/2016 21:23

I am supping alcoholic mulled wine....except DP has practically boiled it so probs alcohol free now...chilling with DP and my many cats. One of our new kittens has just finished off what was left in a yoghurt pot.

I give you...Luke Skywhiskers...

He's a total loon and fits into our clan very well.

Lights twinkle, it's icy cold outside, 'tis the season of Yuletide, come and join us - yes you! For this is JS62!
corgi88 · 11/12/2016 21:36

Aww stumbly he is too cute!
Kwick non alcoholic mulled punch/wine - acceptable alternative though often a bit sweet. Can get it at Tesco/m&s - actually am sure most supermarkets do it! And Belvoir do a really nice spiced ginger drink which is amazing hot!

kwick · 12/12/2016 07:47

Thanks for the tips corgi

Crazy cat stumbly.... is it usual for cats to eat yogurt? Confused
