Odd period, implantation bleed or something else entirely?

At the end of August I had a chemical pregnancy. Next 2 months periods heavier and more painful than anything I've ever known. Went to doctors, he said system was doing a clear out.

We're still ttc, this month used opks and were having sex at around the right time. Then 1 week early (wed lunchtime) I get some spotting. Mainly when I wipe, tiny amounts on sanitary towel and next to none at night. This is still going on. Abdomen aches solidly rather than cramps.

I'm utterly exhausted - DS1 has had a tummy bug and we've had a week of rotten sleep from him. Initially u thought implantation bleed, but now I'm kind of sadly resigned to it being a period, just unlike any I've ever had.

I'll test next week as that's the only way to tell, but wondered if anyone had anything similar and it turned out to be implantation bleeding?

Could be an IB. Sounds like the early stages of my pregnancy. And not too early to test...?

I thought too early as when I was pregnant with DS - I tested at a week late and got a negative and only got a positive when still no period the next week. That was using a Clearblue.

Lots of people on here seem to text a week or so before period with FR. you're 5 days before?

*test!

I will say, however, that medical advice is important. Could you do s test to see if anything shows, then contact your doctor, just in case? I'm not sure of eptopic symptoms but best take care of yourself and seek help early.

Thanks so much newtoday - tested this morning but BFN. Just an oddity this month I guess. But thank you for taking the time to reply, it was really kind.

You're welcome.

If you're sure you don't need medical help, I'm sure it's your body telling you give yourself extra TLC. Try your best!
