Period Late and Negative Tests - any ideas?!

I'm 6 days late. All the tests I've taken so far have been negative (all cheap tests if that makes any difference).

Today (am) I've had some brown discharge (sorry for the TMI!) but not enough to need a pad. My periods don't normally start like this and nothing else has happened since this morning.

All of my obsessive googling tells me that this could either way but I'd be really grateful to hear if you have a similar story!

Should I try to visit the doctor for a blood test or wait it out a bit longer?

Unfortunately at 6 days late I think you would have had even just a faint positive on a test if you were pregnant.

Sometimes people have cycles where they don't ovulate, which can then be longer than normal cycles. Hopefully things get back to normal for you soon!

I didn't know that about longer cycles, that sounds like it could explain things though.

Hey. 50 day cycle followed by a 23 day cycle over here. It's possible. Try not to torture yourself. Relax. AF should get you out of limbo soon. X
