Welcome to our third thread on PCOS. What we don't know isn't really worth knowing. We're a friendly bunch of women who have a few things in common. We all have either PCOS or unexplained infertility and we're all on a mission for a BFP!!!!

Looks like period is coming. Only two rounds of clomid left. Considering just thinking sod it and paying for ivf as that seems my only chance

Yes weve got the money so im thinking why not? Its weird because i can see a happy life without children so my devastation may not be as acute as others x

Would it be worth getting the ball rolling for IVF but use your last two rounds of clomid?

Cd25, the spotting has begun. I'm out. Will be picking up my next prescription over the next few days to go again.

I'm 'late' today. Normally the day before (and often the one before that too!) AF arrives I feel kind of cramp-y and uncomfortable but I have had not even the slightest of indication that it's on it's way. Trying really hard not to symptom spot and psych myself out now. I tested yesterday with FMU, and got a BFN, so I am trying to wait it out a few days and see if either AF arrives or to take another test, although I am stuck on if it's worth picking up something more sensitive or just sticking with the cheap ones I usually buy haha.

It's the same old story for me never, even with too many follicles I can't get pregnant. Maybe I'm not supposed to.

What test did you use? Internet cheapie and clear blues are often a bit pants early on.

I'm sure if you wanted to start sooner, privately, you could do fluffy.

Thanks boggle im considering phoning after Xmas and asking to be seen earlier to discuss private treatment but they may want me to finish my two clomid rounds ?

Hi Ella, dunno. It's not full flow yet. Need to see if I can get clomid in time. Feel pretty rubbish.

Boggle ive not been scanned but one month my progesterone was 100 and dr said its likely i released a few eggs but still bfn. Sometimes i wonder if the clomid can be counterproductive esp the higher doses

Bought my appt forward to 31 Jan so i can be dc from gynae and go private for ivf. Im going to start this round tonight so will know if im pregnant or not by then. I cant be arsed waiting anymore

Still late today. If no BFP, this will be my longest cycle in a while but I wouldn't be surprised, it seemed like my body had found a rythem so for it to now change it's mind would be typical! Tested on the 26th, BFN, trying to hold off testing because I'm gearing myself up for disappointment, I always just think it's all in my head and there's really no signs!

Crossing my fingers boggle, I saw your post and though yes, I'll go get a first response because I've got tesco cheapies which are blue dye and seemingly not great, or at least the cheap 'freedom' brand ones ASDA do because they're pink dye and ASDA had neither! So tempted to take a tesco one tonight but know it's probably futile. Ovia had me down with AF arriving on the 27th, but Clue says January 5th (Clue had always been right before but Ovia has with these last two cycles) so I think my current plan is to test tomorrow, and if BFN, wait until Jan 1st. I just don't think I can face that little empty window again.

Thanks never. 2 more cycles of clomid at 100mg now got. Just a waiting game for actual AF to turn up now.

Perhaps you just ovulated a bit later and it needs a few more days of waiting. Fingers crossed.

I'm really really crossing my fingers for you boggle, I hope one of these two cycles is your month, you really deserve it.

I'm hoping that is the case, tested this morning with my tesco one and got a BFN, so I think I'm going to try find a first response in one of the shops near me and save it for January 1st, provided AF doesn't show before then, which really doesn't 'feel' likely but as you'll all probably agree, the cycles of those with PCOS move in such mysterious ways haha.

I'm on CD 10 so starting to use OPK's for the first time. But this could be another 6 month cycle so it could all be pointless.
Looking forward to a new year and fresh start x
