late period negative test

hi all

i am currently 4 days late for AF - i have 28 day cycles normally

last dtd on cycle day 20 and not ttc. Had spotting on day 28 and nothing since. Feel like my period is going to start and am tired and crampy.

getting negatives on cheap ebay tests, but if i ovulated late then might it be too early to get a positive result? Or is there a more sensitive test that i could try?

I am in the same boat to some extent laury. I think it's just a waiting game for AF.... or a trip to the doctor if you are really concerned.
