Hi everyone i just want some feedback if its possible. i stopped taking the pill about 33 days ago and had a bleed afterwards as expected and now im just wondering if this is my period or what is going on with me. if i was still taking the pill then af would have arrived yesterday and this morning i thought it had arrived but it looked very different than normal it was dark brown and very watery (sorry i know thats gross) and i litterly wiped it away and it was gone. the same thing happened again about an hour ago and now its gone again. is this what happens when you come off the pill my periods were regular before i went on the pill as far as i can remember and they were heavy and painful. just wondering what i should expect and will it take long to get my cycle back

I get that for about a day and then my period arrives properly. Its quite nice to have the warning!

I get that for about 3 days then af comes along. I came off pill oct 06 and only recently returned to 'monthlys' rather than 21 days apart. Odd.

I came off the pill 18 months ago (after being on it for 17 years!!) only remembered my periods as being heavy and horrid- since coming off they have been way better - lighter and shorter (actually every month is a bit heavier - maybe to do with which ovary releases? . The first 2- 3 after stopping the pill were very light I think.

Anyway - I also get 1-2 days of brownish spotting - which mostly only appears when I go to the loo, then get 2-3 of blood and then an other day or two of the brown. Sorry TMI!!

But sounds like your AF is on its way!

sorry - meant to say every other month is a bit heavier
