Test experts please help!

My period is late, I'm not sure exactly how late because it's only my third since having my youngest and they haven't settled yet, but my longest ever cycle was 33 days, I'm now on day 40. So I took a test and got this baffling result, line appeared within the time limit but was so faint I convinced myself I was imagining it, it's gotten darker over the last few hours but it's so thin I don't know what to make of it. It's a Tesco test if that makes any difference.
Annoyingly I don't have another test to use and I'm not sure when i can get out to get one.
Can anybody shed any light?
I really don't want to be pregnant!

I can see a line.

If it appeared in the time limit then I'd say it's positive not an evap line.

But saying that it does look a little to one side so perhaps try again when you can.

Thanks yawning I know I need to retest asap really. It's so frustrating that I can't get out for one at the moment.
