So disappointed..

Hi all,

I know I shouldn't have got my hopes up but really thought I might have been due some good fertility luck.

I have one dc4 and have had 2 mmc in the last 9 months. Each time I have got pregnant the first cycle. After some really painful months after the miscarriages, we were finally emotionally ready to try again.

So I know I shouldn't have assumed it would happen straight away, I know I shouldn't. My period has just arrived 2 days early & I feel winded with disappointment.

Haven't wanted to tell anyone in real life that we're trying again so guess I just needed to vent here.

Sorry to hear that. I had two mmc ad well. I almost gave up and the next thing dd was on the way!!

I'm so sorry it's taking longer this time, and sorry for your miscarriages but it will happen for you, it's a shame we can't fast forward to that point though.
Take the time you need to accept that it hasn't happened this cycle and be kind to yourself. Do something for you - buy yourself a nice bunch of flowers, read a book, have a lovely bubble bath or something that gives you a little lift. Remember hormones play a part in how we feel too. Have a good sleep and hopefully in a few days you will be ready to start a new cycle. New cycle = new hope. You are not alone, you know where we all are if you need to vent

With my rational mind, I know it's really soon and it will happen one day. Unfortunately TTC and keeping a rational mind isn't the easiest!

So sorry to hear about your mmc. I also had 2 mc before falling pregnant and having a baby on my 3rd go. I also fell quickly both times and felt upset and unable to control my emotions when I didn't immediately fall pregnant after my second mc. However I came to terms with the fact that I had two mc and had faith it would happen one day. I fell pregnant a few months later and had my DS. Don't be upset and have faith that it will happen for you one day. It might not happen straight away but it will happen and it'll be worth waiting for x
