Implantation bleed or early miscarriage???

Hi I'm just after people's thoughts really. My husband and I have been ttc for 15 months after his vasectomy was reversed. My cycles have been 24 days and I was due on Sunday 30th October. No sign of af arriving so I tested on the Wednesday, I did 3 tests and they all came up positive. Ecstatic is not the word for how we felt. Late that evenin I started to bleed. I bled all through the night all day thurs and all day fri. Nothing over the weekend and then some fluid during the day Monday. At this point I was confused as my normal periods are extremely heavy & in total last 5 days. So my thinking is if it was A miscarriage it would have been even heavier??? Well I thought I would do another test yesterday & it came up positive straight away & again tested today & the line is darker than ever!! What are people's thoughts on this?? I'm so hoping I'm pregnant!!

You need to go for a scan if at all possible. It's likely you're still pregnant if it's showing on a pregnancy test but you need to be checked out to make sure everything is ok.

Implantation bleeds happen before you get a positive test, not after, and they are just a bit of spotting usually.

I had a bleed two days after my bfp. Got a Drs app that day and was referred to the early pregnancy unit for a scan next day.

Please see someone if you are worried.

I had a huge bleed at 6+1, was convinced by the sheer amount that I had miscarried. I'd had nothing like in my previous three pregnancies. I still had symptoms two weeks later and tested with clear blue digital and got a 3+, so still lots of hormone in my system. Got scanned and am now 10+5.

Definitely go to the doctor and ask for a scan to get some answers. Got my fingers crossed for you.

It's not true that implantation bleeds only happen before a bfp, I bled a week or so after and the sonographer said that's exactly what it was. I've had a couple of bleeds that lasted between a couple of hours and 3 days on and off, like a light - medium period, all is well so far and I'm 14 weeks. Good luck x

Thanks guys for replying. Iv foned the docs who said they can't scan till I'm 6 weeks anyway, which will b Sunday. So I'm to do a test mon & if it's still positive then I'm to see doc. I'm so scared though as iv had 4 children & nothing like this before. This will be a baby with my new husband who wants it more than anything. & as I'm 37 I'm not getting any younger. We've been trying for 15 months after his vasectomy was reversed & have started the process of goin private. I hav a laparoscopy booked for 2 Dec so if I'm pregnant would be the best news ever! This waiting is just awful though.
