TTC after implant removal

Hi everyone.

I'm new at this & ttc after implant removal yesterday. The nurse warned me that on average it can take a year to conceive. Does anyone have any experience of ttc after implant removal?

Any other general tips? I'm taking folic acid tablets & use Clue to monitor my cycle. So far only for period regularity as bled in my last year on implan after 2 yrs of no bleeding. I'm 32 & this is my first time ttc.

I have a lot to learn & am a little intimidated after reading too many ttc threads.

Hello, just wanted to say that it doesn't necessarily take a year, but the stats show that out of every 100 couples, 80-90 of them will get pregnant within a year.

My best friend fell pregnant within a week of having her implant removed, she actually went straight on the pill after having it out but fell pregnant before it got into her system properly. So you just never know Smile

When you get your first period you can expect to ovulate around 14 days after the first day of bleeding, do some research on fertile signs and I'm sure you'll be able to pinpoint it. Good luck!

I've just downloaded Ovia and I'm astounded by all the info. There is so much more to this than I imagined. I think I'm going to need MN as I promised DH I would not get obsessed!! Oooops. Grin
