Tested early BFN

Hi all, I am currently TTC baby no 2, next period is due in 6 days time.

I stupidly tested this morning and got a very definite BFN, would there usually be at least a faint line by this time if I were pregnant?

I've had heartburn, cramping and nausea, but no actual sickness. Weirdly my boobs are not tender at all whereas usually the ten days before my period they're really sore.

It's far too early for symptoms. I'd say wait to test again when you have missed AF. Good luck!!

Is it too early? Maybe I'm tricking myself lol. With my 1st I fell pregnant coming of the depo so wasn't expecting a period if you see what I mean.

I tested early at the start of this week, got a BFN. Tested today on the day AF is due and pregnant! Not getting excited yet though, I had a chemical a couple of months ago. Good luck testing!

Congratulations! I took another today, I need to get a grip ha, still negative but it is 5 days before I'm due.
Definitely not testing now until Wednesday!

I am in exactly the same boat. AF also due on weds for me. I tested today and BFN. I was sick today which made me test. But maybe just a bug as there's a lot going around my office. will test again on Weds. Fingers crossed for you OP!x

Managed to refrain from anymore tests and tomorrow is when AF is due (but hopefully doesn't arrive!)

I still have no breast pain at all which is unheard of for me, they're usually extremely tender for about a week prior to my period. Also no spots which I do tend to break out just before!

But have had a few stomach and back twinges today which I'm trying to ignore!

Hate hate hate this waiting!

Hi cat lover, sorry to hear that.
I haven't tested yet as I dont have a test and my daughter has a cold so were stuck in for the day. Might send my boyfriend after work for one if AF hasn't arrived. So think it'll be tomorrow morning I do my test if no period.

Implantation takes place from 6-12 DPO. It then takes 3-4 days after this for there to be enough HCG in your system for a HPT to pick up.

The early result tests only get you the advertised '5 days before your period is due' if you have implantation at 6 DPO (assuming a 14 day luteal phase).

If you have implantation at 12 DPO and a 14 day LP you won't get a positive HPT until after your period is due.

I didn't get my BFP until a day or two after my pissed period. I think if you can hold off until it's actually late before taking- I know it's hard but I think it would have saved me a lot of stress!

No it's not appeared yet but I've had cramps tonight so I'm sure it's on the way. It's so weird, I'm never late normally x

What CD are you on? You might just be having a longer cycle. If you're stressed it may take up to 35 days on a "normal" scale.

Today is CD43 for me so keep positive and I'm sure AF will show ready for you to start a fresh cycle. PMA. X
