Advice on dtd timing

Hi. I am ttc no2 at the moment. Using opks and got a smiley on a CB normal opk last night and a solid on my dual CB this morning. Dtd last night. Have noticeable pain on lhs this afternoon so wondering is this likely to be ov or am I just working up to it? Given I detected my surge last night I'm thinking it could be ov? Anyway I am wondering should we dtd tonight or in the morning before oh goes to work? Wouldn't be up for both any and all advice appreciated!

Hi. Yay for the peak fertility with digi opk. The solid smiley will stay for 48 hours so I would say make sure you dtd at least every other day from now on to cover your bases. Some people say that you should have a days "rest" to allow more swimmers to get ready but the choice is yours! Good luck X

I'm roughly at the same part of my cycle and have been looking in to this too.

The positive on opk indicates ovulation in the next 48 hours so I plan on dtd three consecutive nights to cover the highly fertile days and then dtd every other night in the few leading up to those days as my says those days are 'medium' for fertility.
