Random one.. TTC no 3, 2nd month and no bfp... which I know is not a long time to try for.. just can't help a niggling worrying feeling about our age as DD & DS were conceived first try... my youngest is 4 eldest 7 & im now 33 & DH is 43 on Tuesday... anyone found that age has affected the time it takes to conceive? Thanks

I conceived (slightly) faster at almost 35 (me) and 42 (dh) than at 32 and 39 :)

Each and every month there is a maximum 25%chance of conceiving. And for many people, it's more like 20%... give it time.

Dc1 he was 44 and Dc2 he was 49. Conceived both the first month of trying so it had no impact for us.
I'm sure you will be fine.

They say a man's age has little to do with his fertility so I wouldn't worry. My MIL and FIL had twins naturally at 45 back in the 80s!
