Think I'm going to pop out and get a digital test. Only one though so I'm not tempted to use the 2nd one next week.

PurpleHaze1 · 17/10/2016 16:56

Rose the first few days after my BFP I had lots of cramps. I think it was just everything stretching. As you don't know when you ovulated you might be testing earlier than you think which would explain the faint lines. Also did you use FMU? They're definitely there though! I'm keeping everything crossed for you (())

Mouse, I admire your restraint! Smile

I'm day 26 and having brown spotting so think I'm off this bus. This marks end of our 12th cycle, so now looking at considering fertility treatment, we can't really afford more than one cycle thoughSad
So not fair, never thought I would have trouble conceiving. Just so cross and frustrated!!
(Will bugger off to infertility or November thread now)
Good luck all x

MrsRose87 · 17/10/2016 17:49

This is my last test. I'm just going to let nature take its course. What will be will be.

Purple once you've officially missed your period the FMU thing doesn't matter. AF was due Saturday.

Mira I know you probably hear lots of stories about couples who take a while to conceive, but it's not the end of the road. It took my mother 18 months to conceive me and that was almost 30 years ago. Please don't give up hope Flowers

Yay Rose!! Seee preggers!!
I have a feeling AF will make an appearance tomorrow when I have a funeral to attend. Sod's law. I got a little upset before reading about all your long cycles. I feel a little of my hope and good spirits slipping away. Sad

MrsRose87 · 17/10/2016 18:13

Mouse I've honestly feel like AF is on its way. You're not out yet!

Elles85 · 17/10/2016 18:19

Hey ladies I've been on a much needed break so congrats to all those bfp, this bus is looking really good.

Writerwannabe83 I'm in fertile week too and like yourself I'm feeling extremely horny so DH better watch out!

MrsRose87 · 17/10/2016 18:24

I'm going to hang around a bit longer to see how everyone gets on. Also don't feel ready to move to a 'due' page yet.

Lulu298 · 17/10/2016 20:13

Good news about the digital test rosebud!

Hope you get your bfp soon mouselove.

Soozc, did you get your bloods done today? Hope it went well if you did.

Am two days away from AF due date. If I don't get a bfp this month, at least I've managed a 25+ day cycle this month.

MotherofUnicorns · 17/10/2016 20:28

Hi everyone, congrats on all the bfps - its very encouraging!
Update here - I think I am about 8dpo and having very period like cramps. I used to have a 14 day luteal phase so I expect Af on sunday...... I'm trying to temp as well but it's a bit erratic! I don't think I've had a drop yet but not sure when I would - is it normally just before Af or a few days before?
Pretty sure I'll be on the November bus but I'm clinging on here for now!!

MouseLove · 17/10/2016 20:43

Thank you Lulu the same to you, keeping my FX for you!! x

Lulu298 · 17/10/2016 21:59

Thanks mouselove! And good luck mira.

ahsan · 18/10/2016 06:09

Writerwannabe83
How are you? Seen you on others trends and have also spoken to you alittle too. Saw you on here and thought I'd say hello, have read your having a difficult time, really sorry to hear that and I honestly really hope you feel better soon😊 Think out of everyone waiting for your BFP the most as know what struggle you've been through. Just wanted to hi 😊

SoozC · 18/10/2016 07:58

Thanks lulu, went fine even though I hate having blood taken! Actually did it on Friday as af started Thursday so better cd2 than cd2. I'm actually hoping they find something wrong to have an explanation for 8 cycles and nothing (am over 35) but something that can be put right in a couple of months with medication. Seems so sad.

I'm hopping off this bus too as it's starting to affect me too much. Baby dust to all.

Writerwannabe83 · 18/10/2016 09:37

Hello ahsan - I certainly recognise your username Smile

I'm not doing too bad, currently having a strange and peaceful week whilst DH and DS have gone on holiday together.

At the start of TTC#2 I felt quite hopeful but with each month that passes I become more accepting that I just don't think it will ever happen for us. I feel strangely ok about it though. We'regoing to try for another 6 months but if nothing has happened by then we're going to just lay it to rest.

MrsRose87 · 18/10/2016 10:43

Writer I know how you feel because last week I was there. I know you need to protect yourself but please don't give up just yet. You never know what's around the corner. Have you been to the doctor? Could you maybe pretend you've been trying for a year?

Writerwannabe83 · 18/10/2016 11:51

I had considered seeing my GP but I thought that seeing as I already have a child they wouldn't be too interested?

Lulu298 · 18/10/2016 12:29

Good luck Soozc. Fx for you.

MrsRose87 · 18/10/2016 13:04

Writer I know a woman who went while ttc #3. They did the initial testing but she caught naturally that month. I fully intend on going January if I'm still babyless. I've been reading up on secondary infertility and it seems to be a genuine thing. Just because you've conceived naturally doesn't mean you don't have issues.

Writerwannabe83 · 18/10/2016 13:09

They'll probably just say it's my own fault as I'm still BF my DS.

The thing is, I'm not desperate for a second child, I would like one but if it doesn't happen then it doesn't happen and I'm fine with that. If I had a deep urge/yearn for another child and DH felt the same then I would absolutely start looking for answers and doing what was necessary to conceive again but neither of us particularly feel that strongly about it.

I was really upset when DH first said he didn't want to TTC #2 because that meant there wasn't any hope of having a second, so I'm really glad he went back on that and we are TTC now, but like I said, if it doesn't happen then I can accept that in the knowledge that at least we tried.

ahsan · 18/10/2016 14:08

Writerwannabe83 Hello again.

Glad your getting on well this week 😊 Know exactly how you feel but with time it will happen. Wouldn't give up after 6 months as I know from looking at your other trends that you want this baby so bad. Should try see a doctor after a while as they can help you and will help you. I had a friend that only had one child but was trying for years, she went to the doctors and it turned out she had something attached to her ovaries so she couldn't conceive. Once it was removed she become pregnant and now has two beautiful children. Sorry forgot the name of those things that grow on ovaries 😊. Please do try and don't give up 💐.

Diddlydokey · 18/10/2016 18:14

Testing day is Thursday... desperate to go and buy a frer though!! We're not ttc ing but had a bit of a drunken whoops :-/

Why are pre period signs and early pregnancy signs so similar?

MouseLove · 18/10/2016 18:26

So I went to the docs this morning with regards to my back and hips. Turns out it's my pelvis they are worried about so I'm having a full blood work up on Thursday. They are testing for arthritis. But it should maybe answer a few more questions as they are testing for loads of other functions including my thyroid.

He asked about my periods & I mentioned I'm waiting for one. He said 33 days is completely normal so that settled me. I really think that's what I'm waiting for now. No tummy ache today so might just be a long cycle. Totally normal for coming off the pill.

This afternoon was my auntys funeral, lovely service but I was happy there were lots of chairs!!

Alibaba2 · 18/10/2016 18:31

Lousy, it's more likely to be your body adjusting after the coil.

MrsRose87 · 18/10/2016 19:16

Mouse did they not give you a pregnancy test to rule it out?
