Are implantation pains a real thing?

I've heard of them on here but not IRL. What does it feel like? I can't remember feeling anything with DD.

Yes, I got them with DD1. Similar to light period pains. For me a lot of the symptoms of early pregnancy are the same as being pre-menstrual. Very confusing!

Hmmm...

So I got period pains yesterday which I thought was odd because I'm not due on yet but no actual period.

Haven't DTD with DP for over a week I'd say. Surely this can't be implantation pains...

I felt them second time round it was like mild-ish cramps. I just knew that I was pregnant.
