Ovulation Pains???

Hi everyone, Just wasndering if anyone can tell me what ovulation pains are supposed to feel like. I am due to ovulate around about now, and today have had a few sharp twinges on my LHS and wandering if this is what it is, and if so, would it be too late to bd tonight?? We bd'd on Sat am, but dh has a cold so wasn't really up for it last night. Since having 3mc's over the last year or so, I feel so many twinges/pains that I never knew I had before. Just started ttc after last mc in sept and found out I have a bicornuate uterus with the left side being the healthiest so it would be nice to think that I am ovulating on the LHS to increase chances.
Anyway, I have read various threads where people have felt ovulation pains and didn't know if that might be what I'm feeling - or if it's just another general pain/twinge?!? Any replies greatfully received.

Hi - I get ovulation pains every month - feels like an intense ache at the side of my mid back - usually the right side, but I guess it varies (would imagine whichever side the egg is being released from).

Not too late to ttc - go for it!

Good luck .

I think it's in my tube area? - below and to the side of my belly button?

Ah yes - Mellowma is proof of the theory that if you have sex immediately after ovulation, you have a greater chance of conceiving a boy! Male sperm are supposed to swim faster than female!

Yes thats where I get them too.. and also my left side and on occasion round my back too

Have a nice/busy night!!!

Not sure if I've ever associated pains in my mid back with ovulation - will watch out for them?

Some women certainly do experience cramps and pain on OV. I may be wrong, but I have read that the pain is the egg breaking out. Therefore it is definitely a good idea to have sex even after this pain, as the egg still has to move down your fallopian tube.

Fingers crossed for you.

Sounds like the right area, but would be in your back rather than in the front ime.
