Baby Maths - when did I conceive?!

Hi lovelies

I am trying to work out when I conceived but need someone with excellent baby maths skills to help please!

My last period started on august 10th

I had a progesterone test on day 21 - august 30th and it was too low so had a further test on September 9th which said I WAS ovulating/had ovulated this month

BFP September 15th

I think test result means I ovulated a week before, so ov on September 2nd? Meaning possible conception 28th onwards??

Is that right?! If progesterone was >5 on the 30th, I couldn't have conceived earlier??

Do you need to know date of conception?. Id work on your last period date to work out EDD and then expect to be put back a little at your first scan.

Oh no, I don't need to know, was just curious to see if it could be pinpointed! (Plus husband is convinced it must be from Aug 20th (v romantic night) but I'm sure that's impossible given progesterone blood works results)

Well the sperm can survive several days so it's just not that clear cut.

I had 5-6 week cycles, absolutely know when I had sex but they still used my previous dates to work EDD...

You should have a 12ish week scan which will give you an accurate EDD and you can work out conception from that - just remember to deduct 2 weeks from how many weeks pregnant are you for the approximate conception date.
