Hi all so evap lines... do they get darker or fade away? I done a HPT came up faint positive came up almost straight away done another one and was negative so I assumed the faint positive was an evap line when I went back to it around 30 mins later the faint line was much stronger. I didn't think an evap line would get dark as I thought they would just fade??

Pic?

Could be your first one had more hormone in your urine. If you did another one straight away there would be less, which is why they say to use first morning urine. The concentration of hcg hormone is much stronger.

That's it now but it was so faint at first

It's a definite line.
Does it have any colour to it? Evaps are usually grey.

holzyb20 · 12/09/2016 11:01

It's definitely pink x

I fished tests out of the bin several times, after a few hours and saw a grey ish line. If there is colour on the line that's promising but yes, Evaps get darker over time hence the advice is to read the rest in the time given - not before or after.
