Kate- teaching sounds quite stressful. Full time mummy will suit u better Wink you will be one soon!! X

Nimisha · 01/10/2016 21:35

Hi all,

Footy look after yourself, I tried to flush out a uti last year and ended up off work for a week with a kidney infection so if you have any high temperatures especially with pain on one side of you back see your gp (or out of hours gp).

Tee I'm sorry to hear AF got you. Remember even if dtd all the right times there is still only a one in four chance of conceiving, which is why it can take up to a year even if everything is plum normal. Some months though it seems to hit harder than others.

Kate, is looking for another job a realistic option? You don't sound very happy where you are and you might not even get a good maternity package for staying. Do what you think is right for you. A rubbish job now will seem so much worse when your little one is tiny and your time is precious (unless you weren't planning on going back?)

Sorry your nausea is still hanging around Jod. Very excited for the big scan.

I know the feeling about being sore Jem, it's not all fun and games it's it! Walking like a cowboy some days.Blush

How are you getting on Mimi? Have you seen the gynaecologist again?

radderss · 02/10/2016 09:15

Hey all, I'm still lurking - thanks for asking about me! It's been manic few weeks. Work has been crazy, my parents split up and we are off on holiday today so sorry I've been so quiet.

Had 20 week scan on Wednesday and all ok. Confirmed a boy. He's been moving around and can feel him which is amazing.

Hope everyone is ok and sorry to those who still haven't had their BFPs. Thinking of you all and hope to see more BFPs when I get back from holiday xx

Jodders · 02/10/2016 11:00

Sorry to hear about your parents radders! Was it a shock? Great you had your scan. Mine is this week I'm 22 weeks this week i think. Feeling the movement is reassuring isn't it.

How are you today footy? Maybe go get a antibiotic I also tried to deal with a UTI myself once and ended up really very sick in hospital for a week.

Nim - when is your scan again?

Sorry AF arrived Tee. Sad it's so unfair

Eh London you must be shattered from all the sex!!!

LondonJem · 02/10/2016 11:08

Congrats on a boy radders, how lovely Flowers

Tee4me · 02/10/2016 13:48

Blimey sorry to hear that Radders!
Great that you're having a boy though!! They are lots of fun Grin

Footy1 · 02/10/2016 15:40

Hey Rads, glad u are well and your baby boy is moving around. That's my favourite part of pregnancy feeling that movement. So sorry to hear about your folks, that's tough. What I would say is it happened to my folks. I took it really badly but when I see them now both re- married they are so so much more happier than they both were when they together so I eventually saw how unhappy they must have been. Hope it's for the best.
Big hug to you. Hope u have a nice hol.

Jodders- I'm ok. A big carton and a half of cranberry juice seems to have squashed it so far. Only thing hav noticed if I don't seem to be weeing for long (if makes sense). Usually a long wee, but now short ones!? Crazy.

My temp 36.60 today. So still up. Just to add to the confusion. Few twinges still in ovary region- both sides. Things a bit better with "h", but he's still just a "h" at the mo. He's away next week so not worth me starting the next cycle of clomid until then so I don't miss any opportunities. Also gives me time to sort stuff out properly - don't feel in the right place at the mo. Plus the stress is making me need Wine

Footy1 · 02/10/2016 15:44

Nim- has spotting stopped?

Busta- thinking of u if u still here..hope u give us some good news soon.

Jem tee snd Kate hope you ok X

Footy1 · 02/10/2016 15:45

Mimi- are you going in for a relaxed approach again or you going to use opk and track?

Tee4me · 02/10/2016 22:04

Really hope the egg made it out this time Footy! I do feel for you, as I find it a struggle enough without doubts and diversions over OD, makes me feel very lucky that my cycle is at least predictable (not that it's done me any favours yet!). Hope Gyne can help with an alternative if Clomid isn't doing it's job. Enjoy your Wine in the meantime!
I've just realised that my CD1 fell on 1st of the month, so I don't need to count CDs this month (tries to find silver lining!!) No clots yet, so I'm hoping things have settled down with my periods! Really think something weird was going on after MC, so curious to see if scan finds anything!
2nd set of bloods tomorrow, feel like things are moving quickly with all this, should have answers by the time my next AF is due.
Planning on DTD CD10-CD14 which is Monday-Friday, but nervous about that as DH can be wiped out in the week. Will def get some bonus congas on weekends either side. Going to make sure he 'releases' a couple of times this week too, as Doc said that's very important.
Have ordered a new batch of opks and will temp (properly) from tomorrow. Want a full set of data for if/when I see the specialist.
Anyone got any new strategies to try?! x

LondonJem · 03/10/2016 08:39

Sounds good tee getting tests done definitely helps move things in the right direction. I've just ordered more opks too, each time I think "this will be the last batch" Hmm

How's everyone else doing?

No new tactics over here. I'm 4 DPO and just cruising out another TWW. I don't feel like I'm waiting to get pregnant now, more like I'm waiting to see my GP. DH has his follow up GP appointment today so I'm hoping they will book him a repeat SA.

OP posts:
Footy1 · 03/10/2016 20:12

Good to hear that you haven't had any clots this cycle Tee, this could be all you are needing to get a BFP.
Makes it easier if your cycle days coincide with the days in month.
Yes pace yourself as my DH always burns out too soon.

Jem, hope appt went well with your DH. Lucky u in the 2ww, I have no idea where I am?! Hope it goes mega fast.

Temp up and down so I don't know what's going on. No rush to start new cycle yet as DH is away next week so I need to start clomid when he's away really. Calling gp tomorrow as I thought it might b best having pills to bring on AF before clomid so it's a fresh cycle. A nurse told me just to take clomid. So I don't know what's best. Suppose it doesn't really matter?

LondonJem · 03/10/2016 21:16

Sorry footy I don't know anything about clomid Sad you sound very fed up with it all and I don't blame you. Can you do some nice things for yourself to take your mind off things and unwind?

DH appointment went fine, the doctor wasn't too concerned by his results and ordered another test. She wants to see me to get some tests booked for me, so I've got an appointment on 20 October. Bit of a wait but might make me feel a bit better when if AF comes that I'm getting help.

Nimisha · 04/10/2016 09:53

Hi all,

Jod my scan is a week today. The spotting hasn't stopped. Had some bright red blood yesterday, I thought I was miscarrying but it stopped after an hour. That was after a day of feeling pretty nauseous all day which I thought meant things were going well and my hormone levels were pretty high.

Jem, I'm glad you feel like you're getting help. The only thing I did differently was trying to dtd in the tww, particularly around implantation.

Sorry to hear about your parents Radders. I hope you are coping with everything. It's amazing feeling the movements isn't it. They get stronger though and I remember getting a few kicks right in my cervix that made me jump.

Footprints, I think starting a new cycle seems a sensible idea, nice fresh lining. Does the dose of clomid change?

Tee, I gave my DH vitamin c every day. Tried to get him to drink less alcohol but that didn't work as he likes a beer after work. Wasn't worth the argument. I also tried to get him to wear his baggy boxers rather than his tight ones to keep things cool down there. I was also taking aspirin (and vitamin c, vitamin d, folic acid and low dose iron ) but not for long. I took the individual vitamins rather than a multivitamin.

Jodders · 04/10/2016 10:07

Nim - would they not take blood and test your Levels every two days?

LondonJem · 04/10/2016 10:15

Hope the spotting clears up nim. I was thinking about carrying on DTD during the TWW - perhaps I'll see if DH is keen.

OP posts:
Footy1 · 04/10/2016 16:42

Nim-Sorry to hear you are spotting. Really hope it's nothing to worry about. Think I'd push to be seen somewhere for peace of mind. Hope it stops for you, yes I do think the nausea thing is still a good sign. Hugs to you, you poor thing must be worried XFlowers
For me the dose should stay the same I think, there's a higher risk for multiples of u take the higher dose. I do believe it was my fault that ovulation may have not happened as I didn't take at the same time, and I drank wine, so want to try another round but this time more disciplined.

Jem, yes the gym is my distraction at the mo.. I am fed up. Trying to shift a stone that has crept on since my injuries.. 4lbs off so far! Been swimming loads to rebuild muscles around spine, and of course enjoying the spa area!
DH is away next week so going to really chill! HaloNo housework.. No baking.. Minimal cooking.. Until the day before he's backWink
Any symptoms for u?

LondonJem · 04/10/2016 17:02

Gym and spa sounds just the ticket footy fx next cycle is much more straightforward. What cycle number are you on? This is ten for me Shock no symptoms at all, but I'm only 5 DPO so wouldn't really expect any. I don't really symptom spot anymore as convinced myself I was pregnant for the first 5-6 months and turned out it was PMS every time Hmm

Every now and then I daydream about what it might be like to get a BFP. But it's like imagining realising I had grown wings and could fly. Just seems it's never gonna happen! Who knew making babies was this difficult.

OP posts:
Tee4me · 04/10/2016 17:54

Nim sorry to hear about the spotting, bet it's making you feel a bit tense, but perfectly normal for some women.
Sack that housework right off Footy! Love that plan! I have no motivation to do anything at the moment. I could do with a day of nothing watching rubbish tv and eating crap! Not gonna happen anytime soon Sad
Jem I'm the same as you when ordering opks. Also when buying tampons! Convince myself I only need a small box, no need for 3-4-2 offers! You'd think I'd have learnt by now.

Footy1 · 04/10/2016 21:32

Cycle 6 for me still been so long in this damn cycle.

It's cd29Star! Not sure if anything has happened so far..
I'll attach my chart from this cycle... If I ovulated the second temp shift (where line moved to) then I could be 8dpo. The clomid at the beginning would have made the earlier temps higher than usual. Not had any hot flashes for a week, which is the only promising sign that maybe I did ov.

Footy1 · 04/10/2016 21:43

I too only buy a small box of tampons! Lol always think this will be the last for awhile. Even not made concrete plans for Christmas and travelling incase I'd be throwing up with morning sickness!!

Yes every cycle I think I could be and nothing. This cycle is the only time I think I'm not- so let's hope this is the trick! Would love this to be the case ! Ha ha..

Tee4me · 04/10/2016 22:10

I'm the same Footy, I've put so many things on hold thinking I'll be pregnant any minute! Think I told you girls months back that I bought a 'grandchildren' double photo frame for my in laws (wanted to add a pic of DS & early scan pic of new baby). It was when I fell in March and thought it would be a Mothers Day present... I've proceeded to go through the year thinking of other occasions I could use it for, then the dates all come and go! Christmas perhaps?!
Hope you ovulated this time. Chart looking positive and good that you haven't had more hot flashes! Let's hope for a surprise BFP! x

Footy1 · 05/10/2016 08:18

I think I might just be going a little crazy here.. Just for the fun of it (of feeling part of the Poas team) I thought I'd use an IC hcg so I'd know whether or not to get pills for AF.

I think , and only think (maybe imagining it) but I think I might see a faint line? It could b indentation so pls don't get excited. What do ya think? Surely can't be another dud test?

I've tried different ways of taking pic but it's so faint I'm not sure you'll see it?!

Yes I can see something?! Do you have any more ICs to try again?! x

LondonJem · 05/10/2016 08:42

Footy! I can definitely see it! Do another do another ShockShockShock
