Vanishing positives Fr

So it was 6days to af and I've felt off for a while so I tried a fr test, not an early but the box said results in 1minute. When I it was "loading" the result was very clearly positive but after a minute (maybe even less I was panicking about phoning my mum at 3am or I'd burst before the morning ) the positive vanished to leave it like a bfn.. It didn't come back later either.

Has this happened to anyone? I'd have blamed it on a cheapie but fr's is the recommended. If no af I'll be retesting next week.

Sometimes tests get lines on as the dye moves across. These disappear As the dye runs to the control line. Could it be that?

It had both like it was positive and not a faint line, but once the excess dye went it went just after. Not like all over while it was running up or a smidge of a section. Wish they'd include an answer in the leaflet lol

I would definitely do another test to recheck because that could be a faulty test, I kept my old pregnancy tests from a couple of years ago and you can still see a positive now so they don't normally vanish, good luck!
