Hi guys, just starting the October bus.

I'm almost 33, have a DS (2.5 years) and am now trying for DC2. I caught pregnant on cycle 1 but unfortunately had an early miscarriage and am now entering cycle 5.

My current situation is that DH has been changing his mind over the last 12 months to wanting to try for another, then not wanting to, then wanting to etc and it's been very difficult. We have now come to the compromise that we can actually try up until next August but if nothing has happened by then we stop TTC.

I'm on CD3 now, I usually ovulate around days 17/18 and have cycles of around 31/32 days.

Good luck to everyone!!! Flowers

Congrats Napping and sorry to all those who feel AF is coming.

Has anyone else been dreaming about gorillas?!

Writerwannabe83 · 01/10/2016 07:42

It's been 12 days since my positive OPK and 11 days since I had my ovulation pains and still the whitest BFN this morning.

My period is due on Monday so I was kind of hoping to see something by now.

I keep clinging on to the though that when I was pregnant with DS I didn't actually get my BFP until the day my period was due despite testing for about 4-5 prior to that.

When I was pregnant earlier this year I got my BFP about 9 days after my positive OPK but that ended in miscarriage so an early line obviously isn't a sign of a 'good' pregnancy in my case anyway.

I think my sense of logic and sanity has gone a bit awry this month - deep down I know I'm not pregnant. I'm feeling disappointed obviously but even more so seeing as DH is away during October's FW Sad

ali - I didn't dream about Gorillas, I unfortunately dreamt about young girls bring groomed and forced to have sex against their will, and murders and violence. Lovely eh?

sk1pper - I'm sorry you feel like you're our this cycle, but as you said, you can focus on the positive that you won't have to cancel your wedding Flowers

Nope but dreaming about gorillas in what way? Grin

PurpleHaze1 · 01/10/2016 07:44

Sorry sk1pper Sad

Napping can you remind us of your stats? So happy for you!

Pretty sure I ovulated yesterday. I had cramps & got a rise this morning. Will need to wait a few days before FF confirms it. Unfortunately DH wasn't up for any gorilla action last night so I'm a bit gutted. We did DTG on Thursday night so I'm just hoping that was enough. I'd really really love a BFP this month as a June baby would be perfect but nothing I can do now except sit back & wait...

Writerwannabe83 · 01/10/2016 07:51

I completely missed your post napping!!!

Fantastic news Smile Flowers

Congratulations napping, that's fantastic news! How many dpo are you?

Congrats to Tigi today, that's amazing!

Sorry to sk1pper and writer for feeling like af is on the way.

I'm going to do a frer tomorrow morning, I'll be 10 dpo then. I'm feeling hopeful, my boobs are still painful, which I never remember having before and don't think I had with ds1. On Thursday I was trying to convince my OH that my boobs looked bigger and he said they just looked bruised, so I looked in the mirror and it wasn't bruising, it's massive blue veins going from top to bottom of both boobs! Also had more dizziness and felt a bit nauseous the last couple of days (although that bit could be in my head). Here's to a day of distraction and positive thinking! Happy Saturday ladies!

Writerwannabe83 · 01/10/2016 07:55

Does anyone think that at the bottom of each post we write we should add a signature as such of what cycle we are on and what say we are on?

It's really hard trying to remember everyone's details/stats so it would be really handy if we could see it at the bottom of people's posts as opposed to trawling back or keep asking them? For example at the bottom of my posts I would write:

(TTC#2, miscarriage on Cycle 1 and now on Cycle 6. 11/12 dpo)

Congrats, Napping!

Sorry to sk1pper, writer and mouse. Big hugs.

Purple - I'm sure dtg on Thursday was enough. Fx for you! I'm hoping I ovulate today. Two days of positive opks bit no temp rise this morning.

Alibaba2 · 01/10/2016 08:01

I dreamt that DD1 had a party entertainer who put on a gorilla hand and scared the hell out of her!!

(I'm in the progesterone-crazy-dream part of my cycle)

MouseLove · 01/10/2016 08:11

Sk1pper, napping, sooz - thank you. X

And napping... CONGRATULATIONS.

WOW I think your the first actual October bus BFP in October!!! (Can't believe it's October btw)

I've woken up with a horrifically bad back. I'm pretty sure AF will show up this weekend (didn't I say that last weekend) Sad

sk1pper · 01/10/2016 08:22

Probably a good idea Writer, I am going to slink away from the buses now so wont be updating the list anymore. I can do it one last time and someone can take it over or you girls can sort signatures out?

I really hope those still waiting for AF get some surprise BFPs, it's been a great bus already Grin

Lulu298 · 01/10/2016 08:23

Congratulations napping and tiggi!

Writerwannabe83 · 01/10/2016 08:24

sk1pper - why are you slinking away? Sad

Lulu298 · 01/10/2016 08:25

Hey sk1pper hope you're taking a temporary break from the thread. Will miss you xx

Goldfish99 · 01/10/2016 08:27

Congrats Tiggi and Napping!

Sk1pper looks like we've synced again! Can you move me to the back of the bus please? Next AF due 24th and now onto cycle 4.

The witch arrived yesterday afternoon just a few hours after I got DP to order some pg tests from Amazon because I felt nauseous! Oh well at least she had the decency to spare me the disappointment of seeing a BFN!

Good luck for anyone due to test soon!

Goldfish99 · 01/10/2016 08:46

Sorry Sk1pper hope it's a temporary break! Think the signature idea is a good one and probably easier than trying to maintain a list!

(34, TTC#1, CD2, Cycle 4)

NappingRabbit · 01/10/2016 08:54

Thanks everyone! I'm only 10/11dpo (FF and Ovia say 10 but I felt ov pain same day as my positive OPK so possibly 11). I'm not counting my chickens as it's still VERY early days and I'm still spotting on and off. Not entirely convinced it will all continue fine but will remain hopeful.

Sorry it was a BFN today writer - it doesn't sound like you're definitely out yet though. Will keep my fingers tightly crossed for you.

purple I reckon Thursday was plenty close enough so you should be in with a good chance this month.

Mumrahh that all sounds v promising!

Mouse sorry to hear about your back - feel better soon!

Tinkerbell2319 · 01/10/2016 08:55

Congrats napping and sorry to hear sk1pper hope you're ok

(24, TTC #1, cycle 1, CD 19)

sk1pper · 01/10/2016 08:55

writer - I'm starting fertility tests in 2 weeks, and although I love talking to everyone on here I feel like I need a different kind of support now. It's tough seeing people come and go and not graduating. I'll keep an eye out for some more BFPs though ;) and I expect you all to get it before Christmas! Youre a lovely bunch of ladies xx

Flappergirl86 · 01/10/2016 09:15

Congratulations napping!!!! FlowersStar

OH got back early this morning and woke me up with a DtG. Same thing happened. Getting worried now!

Flappergirl86 · 01/10/2016 09:17

aww Skipper :( I hope you find your answers and or that Sods law kicks in before your appointment and you get your Bfp xxx

SoozC · 01/10/2016 09:22

We'll miss you, sk1pper. Sad Good luck with the tests (starting my first tests in 2weeks' time too so know how you feel). Massive hugs.

Mumrahhhh · 01/10/2016 09:25

Sorry to hear you're leaving us sk1pper thanks for all your help others the stats and good luck to you in the coming months Flowers

Writerwannabe83 · 01/10/2016 09:54

flapper - so he initiated DTG? Have you asked him why he's struggling?

sk1pper - the best of luck and I hope you get the answers you need and hopefully we will see you back soon X

MundayCakes85 · 01/10/2016 10:44
