The October Bus - hoping for lots of BFPs and Summer babies!!

Hi guys, just starting the October bus.

I'm almost 33, have a DS (2.5 years) and am now trying for DC2. I caught pregnant on cycle 1 but unfortunately had an early miscarriage and am now entering cycle 5.

My current situation is that DH has been changing his mind over the last 12 months to wanting to try for another, then not wanting to, then wanting to etc and it's been very difficult. We have now come to the compromise that we can actually try up until next August but if nothing has happened by then we stop TTC.

I'm on CD3 now, I usually ovulate around days 17/18 and have cycles of around 31/32 days.

I don't know how much longer I can feel like this for. I don't seem to get any AF symptoms with them either where as before taking them the week before was bitch week.

I get ovulation pain but only on the left side. Don't know if this is the only ovary ovulating. I had an early scan with DD and was told that my left ovary produced the egg. I can't pin point the exact day I ovulate but get pains after AF for about a week on and off.

I'm beginning to think my tummy ache (dull almost nervous ache - gassy feeling sometimes) could be me ovulating??? I was convinced it was just AF pain but she's not turned up, it's been 10 days of this feeling now. Surely it can't last this long?? I know I've just come off the pill (12 days ago) but after reading all your other comments I'm thinking something isn't quite right. I just want this bloody AF to show her face.

I get ov pain for a couple of hours. DS was a left side egg, this month was also a leftie.

Wishing the days away to get to a testable point. Desperately hoping AF doesn't show up, we couldn't have timed things better this month so if nothing comes of it I will be v fed up. But the month I conceived DS I had loads of EWCM and I haven't had similar since my periods returned postpartum so I think it may well be another failed cycle.

Do you think symptom spotting has gone too far when someone pulls her boobs out of her bra in the staff toilet so she can look at her nipples to see if they look bigger than normal?

Had to laugh, Writer! That sounds completely normal to me! I've done that at home, then realised the curtains were open!

purple - twins yes, identical twins maybe not. But right now I'd take anything lol

mouse - it shouldn't really feel like a tummy ache, it's normally a much more pronounced tingling/stabbing pain on one side. Almost like you've got a concentrated area of trapped wind. But again, all women are different.

Well that's got me stumped then. I had a similar pain to what you describe sk1pper early last week. I passed it off as shooty vag pains. LMAO.

I think it's just my body laughing at me. It's weird, it's almost like a hunger pain. It's probably a massive fart.

I feel quite achey during my fertile week but also get that stabbing pain on one side. I've only really had ovulation pain since DD. Maybe I just wasn't in tune with my body before. Loving that there are other lefties out there too.

I have totally got my boobs out for a second opinion on boob size!

Ov pain for me was quite mild, lasted a couple of hours. And would probably not know what it was if I wasn't keeping a eye out for signs.

MouseLove, have you stalked any other threads about ttc after coming off the pill? You mind out some info.

I sometimes get sharpish pains on my right side but never really realised ov pain was a thing but maybe that's what it is ... Learning all sorts about my body that I never knew lately suddenly paying more attention to it lol!

Purple... of course I've stalked. All the other threads are quiet. I'm just gonna stick it out till the end of October. Still no AF I'm gonna lead a rebellion and POAS in the hopes that I've defied the odds and fallen pregnant straight away like a fertile teenager at a house party.

Lol love it! Not to try and get your hopes up but it seems plausible! I got pg twice while I was on the pill because i didn't use it properly/ or was sick with a hangover!

Well purple, here's to hoping. DH thinks his super sperm have already scored a goal . I think I'm gonna aim for weekend of 15/16 October to POAS if AF isn't here. That's a month since stopping the pill. And if I have a BFN then I'll have another month of crazy.

I'm due AF on 8/10 if I have a 28 day cycle but the last couple of cycled have been 25/26 day so may POAS on the 5/10. I think my other stats are on the page 1 or 2 of the thread.

No symptoms apart from feeling a bit lightheaded the past few days (and don't think that is a symptom!)

Munday they look fab. Maybe I should look more in to this whole vitamin thing. I really don't think that's the problem I think my diet of cake and chocolate is probably more to do with my ability to conceive than which vitamins I take.
