Hi guys, just starting the October bus.

I'm almost 33, have a DS (2.5 years) and am now trying for DC2. I caught pregnant on cycle 1 but unfortunately had an early miscarriage and am now entering cycle 5.

My current situation is that DH has been changing his mind over the last 12 months to wanting to try for another, then not wanting to, then wanting to etc and it's been very difficult. We have now come to the compromise that we can actually try up until next August but if nothing has happened by then we stop TTC.

I'm on CD3 now, I usually ovulate around days 17/18 and have cycles of around 31/32 days.

Good luck to everyone!!! Flowers

flashing - definitely a sign Grin I love how everyone is so tongue in cheek with the symptom spotting.

I'll update the bus list tomorrow as we've had a couple of people join since my last update.

MrsPositiveAttidude2016 · 26/09/2016 21:23

Elles85 thanks, I was dealing with it quite well until the whole world started announcing they were pregnant.

Defo sounds like ovulation pains. Fingers crossed you've got a sticky bean or beans 😉

purplebella · 26/09/2016 21:35

I had every symptom going last month and still got af! What's that about?! And I know what you mean Flashing, I sell loads of pg tests in the new year and spring time Wink. They all look so embarrassed!

Elles85 · 26/09/2016 22:09

MrsPositiveAttidude2016 Just one bean will do nicely for me. I know what you mean by others pregnant and I'm only cycle 4!

PurpleBella I felt like that last cycle too so don't want to get my hopes up too much but FX

purplebella · 26/09/2016 22:35

I was convinced because I don't normally get many AF symptoms but got all of them last month!

I've been drinking grapefruit juice (yuck!), eating brazil nuts and taking epo this cycle, I told my OH I'm in the fertile window now so here's hoping!

Writerwannabe83 · 27/09/2016 10:02

8dpo and boobs/nipples are quite sore today.

Clearly I'm pregnant and it's nothing to do with the fact I've bed shared with my ill toddler all night and he didn't stop groping them!!

OP posts:
MundayCakes85 · 27/09/2016 10:17

Haha writer obviously that toddler has nothing to do with your symptoms! When are you going to crack out the IC?
12dpo here, got a faint line on an IC yesterday so pulled out the big guns this morning. Got a lovely BFP on a FRER!! Still a bit unreal at the moment Grin

MouseLove · 27/09/2016 10:20

Writer... I just spat my coffee everywhere laughing at your comment. Totes preggers!! GrinGrinGrin

purplebella · 27/09/2016 10:23

8dpo, how exciting Writer!
Dtd this morning, put a pillow under my bum!! If it doesn't happen this month I don't know what else I can do Hmm

OH is working nights for the rest of my fertile window and I'm working early mornings! We'll have to dtd in the afternoon, weird!

purplebella · 27/09/2016 10:25

Congratulations Munday!!! The first BPF!!!! Grin

PurpleHaze1 · 27/09/2016 10:27

Congrats Munday!

Keeping everything crossed for you and those crazy symptoms writer! Grin

I'm in my FW now and really should have DTD last night but DH annoyed me so I wasn't in the mood Hmm I'll need to get over it quickly as we'll definitely be DTD tonight!

MouseLove · 27/09/2016 10:49

Missed that mention!! Congratulations!! Yay the bus is fertile lol

sk1pper · 27/09/2016 10:54

Congrats Munday! How exciting :D

I've just had another argument with OH over text. He agreed that we could go back to the Doctors to push for our fertility tests (he missed the first appointment and I got turned away). So I jotted down the dates he could do, couldn't do, got him resigned up to the surgery (because he lapsed off their system) and spent half hour (again) on hold waiting to book an appointment. When I told OH the date and time he moaned it wasn't early enough but he only said sometime in the morning.

I'm so angry, feel like I'm doing everything at the moment. Just text him saying, you do know it takes two to make a baby? If you don't like the time, feel free to rearrange the time. And I've had no reply.

wantingabud · 27/09/2016 11:01

Congratulations Munday!
Flashing all sounds like good signs!
Sk1pper I'm sorry....men!

I saw my doctor today for a follicle scan and feeling a bit more hopeful as have two 15mm eggs and he says that I should ovulate on Saturday so have been 'prescribed' bd on Thursday / Saturday/Monday....slightly takes the romance out of it being told when to do it but I feel more in control now!

Looking forward to hearing about lots of bfps on this bus! x

saritah · 27/09/2016 11:35

Many congrats Mundy Grin

Sorry to hear that sk1pper – hope he sorts himself out.

MundayCakes85 · 27/09/2016 12:36

Sorry to hear your DP is being a bit rubbish Sk1pper. Maybe he's worried about it and is showing it the wrong way?
I hope that doesn't sound bad, but my DH didn't like to think about the technical details that I obsess think about!

Tinkerbell2307 · 27/09/2016 12:53

Can I join? Halo

Got married in July and stopped trying not TC since then but last month was late and we got disappointed when it turned out to just be a long cycle Sad so this is cycle #1 of properly trying, CD 15

So far kept getting excited during lead up to AF being due and getting overexcited about little symptoms that turn out to be nothing :/ and then gutted after but this month have been DTD every other day since AF left so keeping fx this time around as with last AF being 16 days late I think I've already had enough BFNs to last me a lifetime Hmm

Trying not to get carried away with trying everything at once but was thinking of trying epo - any experiences?

NappingRabbit · 27/09/2016 12:56

Eek congratulations Munday! No waiting around for October!

6dpo here (might be 7 but I'm erring on the side of caution) and feeling totally and utterly normal. Yesterday or the day before I had some v light cramping the side I ovulated but I imagine it's just leftovers rather than anything exciting. At least I'm at work for the next few days to keep me distracted (and stop me POAS unnecessarily!).

Mumrahhhh · 27/09/2016 13:14

Hey Munday, congratulations that is so exciting!!

Sk1pper, sorry to hear your dh is being difficult, I think we just have to concede that men do and think about things differently. My OH is a nightmare when I try to organise anything, he commits then it's the wrong day or time or 'its in the middle of the football'!

5dpo here with another slightly raised temp, trying not to get my hopes up too much. Still got achey boobs and I had 3 dizzy spells yesterday, which I suffered with before I knew I was pg last time. Ovia says to test next Tuesday (ff says another 18 days, no way!!!), so going to try and hold off till Monday, but we'll see!

purplebella · 27/09/2016 13:37

Hi Tinkerbell, I'm trying epo this cycle and have already noticed my (tmi alert) cm is not as creamy as it normally isBlush! Will stop taking it in a few days though as I'll be ovulating soonGrin

MotherofUnicorns · 27/09/2016 13:39

Congratulations!! I am due on tomorrow and no AF symptoms. No symptoms of anything really..... i guess i will have to wait. I will test again on Thursday if no AF as that will be a 30day cycle which is quite long for me.
Keep organising party nights to have something to look forward to if i'm not pg!
What is epo by the way??
x

purplebella · 27/09/2016 13:51

Good luck MotherofUnicornsFlowers I hear no symptoms can also be a "symptom"! I've seen that word so many times now it doesn't look like a real word anymore if you know what i mean!?

Evening Primrose Oil, it's supposed to be good for cm before you ovulate, makes it more eggwhitey, or produces more. But you can't take it after ovulation

MrsPositiveAttidude2016 · 27/09/2016 14:00

Munday that's amazing news. I hope it's contagious!

Tinkerbell2319 · 27/09/2016 14:51

Yeah it's evening primrose oil MotherofUnicorns I had never heard much about it until recently, was thinking of maybe trying it next month if no luck this cycle, might just see how this one goes first and go from there, it's hard not to jump into everything all at once! I can't help but think OPKs and tracking temp and stuff might make it all a bit too stressful for me, it was stressful enough already being super late last month and POAS all the time only to keep getting BFNs :/

sk1pper · 27/09/2016 15:03

Will catch up on all the news later, thread is so busy it's awesome.

In the meantime, if you've just joined please post your stats including AF date and I'll add you to the bus this evening. There will be some more BFPs this month, I can feel it.
