The October Bus - hoping for lots of BFPs and Summer babies!!

Hi guys, just starting the October bus.

I'm almost 33, have a DS (2.5 years) and am now trying for DC2. I caught pregnant on cycle 1 but unfortunately had an early miscarriage and am now entering cycle 5.

My current situation is that DH has been changing his mind over the last 12 months to wanting to try for another, then not wanting to, then wanting to etc and it's been very difficult. We have now come to the compromise that we can actually try up until next August but if nothing has happened by then we stop TTC.

I'm on CD3 now, I usually ovulate around days 17/18 and have cycles of around 31/32 days.

MissMagpie Pregnacare made mine a day longer. I've started taking then religiously this month so I'm expecting a 29 day cycle instead of 28. From what I read it's normal. Before having DD mine were 35 day cycles so having a baby also changed them.

I thought I was pretty regular but cycles have ranged from 25 to 34 days in past year or so! I think/hope that might be due to stress. Is etd estimated test date? Cos then mine would be 22/10.
Here's to a lucky month! I'm trying preseed this cycle.

AF 29 sept. Loitering between here and sept as not testing until October!

I had a nearly positive OPK line yesterday afternoon, complete negative today and some EWCM today. So I'm going to guess ovulation is today and unless AF hits me first, I'll go for an ETD of 06/10 (as if I'll hold out for a whole 2 weeks...)

Thank you Sk1pper for adding me to the bus. I have no idea when AF is due but I'm hoping it shows up before November shows its head. Lol.

AF is due 11/10, same as ETD - I'm going to try to hold out and not test early. My luteal phase is usually a little short at 11/12 days anyway so we'll see how it goes...

A few of us in the 2ww at the moment, I'm finding it okay. Tbh what I hate more is when you know AF is coming and you just want it over with already.

Skipper can you add me please! Was clinging to the Sept bus as AF due on 1st Oct but as they're all testing or waiting for AF and I'm still early on in the 2WW think I'm better placed on this bus! So stats:

I'm glad you're finding it ok sk1pper - I find it has it's ups and downs and I totally agree that waiting for AF (when you can tell it's imminent) is a really annoying part. I'm just dying to get into the fertile week now...

Just a series of wee goals and then more waiting. What can you do?

I'm just checking in after a very long day at work. My DH was after some sex last night and I wasn't in the mood at all. He accused me of only wanting him during my fertile weeks I denied it of course.....

I hate this bit! Getting symptoms that are very likely pms but obv I could read into too much!! I'm going to test on Monday if no Af this weekend. ........

lousylear how are you getting on with Ovia, if you don't mind me asking? I've just started using it. After years on the pill I've no idea how long my cycle is, but I'm hoping it will at least give me an idea of what's going on down there!

Hi saritah, I also use Ovia and I think it's brilliant, very easy to understand which is what I like

Sk1pper or Writer suggested Fertility Friend too HTH!

I'm using Ovia, FF and Clue. Clue I like because you can easily compare cycles and takes me about 10 seconds to update (it also has all my historical data in it).

At the moment I'm trying to make a decision between Ovia and FF. I'm impressed with Ovias algorithm so far (it predicted a shift in my cycle a couple of days sooner than FF) but FF is much better for recording temp data and seeing patterns. I've committed to use both till the end of the year then drop one.

I might get FF when I start temping, I was worried I'd scare my OH with it all but I showed him my Ovia app yesterday and he didn't laugh or anything .

Hi there I'm hoping October will be month too! Lost baby 7 weeks and then most recently at 21 weeks.
Just on second cycle of clomid (50mg CD2-6) and desperately hoping it works! Only on CD7 today so feels like far too long to wait!
