The October Bus - hoping for lots of BFPs and Summer babies!!

Hi guys, just starting the October bus.

I'm almost 33, have a DS (2.5 years) and am now trying for DC2. I caught pregnant on cycle 1 but unfortunately had an early miscarriage and am now entering cycle 5.

My current situation is that DH has been changing his mind over the last 12 months to wanting to try for another, then not wanting to, then wanting to etc and it's been very difficult. We have now come to the compromise that we can actually try up until next August but if nothing has happened by then we stop TTC.

I'm on CD3 now, I usually ovulate around days 17/18 and have cycles of around 31/32 days.

I've been at work the past few nights so no DTD here - glad to see you girls have all been busy! I have a medium coloured line on an OPK this afternoon, I'll test again later and see if it's darkening.

Thanks purple haze, that makes sense. I'm going to opk again when I get home, although huge increase in ewm today after it had disappeared yesterday, so I'm going to distract the 5 yr old with his tablet whilst me and daddy go and 'sort something out upstairs'

Thanks! I'm kind of crapping myself already now. 4/5 weeks is nothing... it feels like it's going to be forever til I can tell anyone (other than you guys of course!) and it feels like I've got weeks and weeks before miscarriage risk drops... The first time round I found out later, but finding out so early is kind of infuriating at the same time as being exciting.

I've been TTC #2 since March. Had an early MC in July. I know it doesn't sound like very long but DD was conceived on my 2nd cycle of trying although we were told we couldn't convince naturally. I feel that with every BFN and new pregnancy announcement I'm losing all hope of giving DD a little brother or sister. This month I'm trying to be positive (hence the name) and need to surround myself with positive people.

So...I think this is everyone?
Please let me know if there's anyone I've missed - I'll update it daily around this time.

What does ETD and AF mean? Sorry, this is the 1st time I've posted on here.

ETD = estimated pregnancy test date, not everyone does it. Extra cookies if you don't before AF date.

AF = Aunt Flo, period or what my OH calls shark week

I guessed AF meant that but wasn't 100%. I never wait until then to test. Sooooo weak!

MundayCakes85 Tested yesterday, definite negative, tested today, faint positive line! Will be due on 26th May 2017 which is only 5 days before my toddler's birthday... they could conceivably share a birthday I feel kind of guilty for being so lucky, it's the second time I have got pregnant in the first cycle of trying, DH and must be freakishly fertile. I only joined the bus yesterday! I wish you all the same luck.

(I feel like I shouldn't get too joyful about being this lucky though, not until I'm past the riskiest stage of the pregnancy... I don't want to jinx it.)

Mamuska - I wish I had just a fraction of your luck :( I think it's okay to be joyful, I'm sure it will all be fine especially if you had no complications before xx
