Dark test quite early - multiples?!

Help! I recently got my BFP (yay) but at 13dpo it was quite dark already. At 15dpo I've just got a 2-3 weeks on a digi.

Have others had this and it turn out to be just one baby in there? We already have a young DD so twins etc would be a disaster. Thanks!

I have twins and my test was never particularly dark so I don't think it's necessarily linked. Could you have ovulated early?

piniata I guess it's possible but I don't think it's likely as I was using digi OPKs.

Time to consider multiples insurance?

Congrats on your pregnancy.
Ask your GP for a further test and advice. It may be multiples but there are other things which can spike your hormone levels. Worth checking sooner rather than later.

The amount of hgc varies a lot between women. But at 15dpo you are over 4 weeks the digital test is saying 2-3 which is 4-5 weeks which is correct.

If your concerned go to the gp and see if they can do blood tests to check your levels or book in for an early private scan in a couple if weeks.

Got as dark as that at 10dpo.... singleton.

Only a scan can give you a definitive answer but twins wouldn't be a disaster! Although I did feel pretty shocked when I found out I was expecting two!

My tests were slightly darker than yours at 14dpo and I got the 2-3 then. And I am just having one so don't panic!! Although I think twins would be great!!

I'm having twins and my tests were super faint, I had my positive 5 days before my period was due so not sure what dpo that would be however I remember doing a test about 2 weeks after my period should have arrived (paranoid) and it still wasn't a blazing positive.

The clearblue would be right as you'd be 4-5 weeks pregnant at 15dpo so seems accurate

I had the same digi result at 13 dpo, only one in there though!!
